Hi Nancy. My wife and I found Harry's stone in the Tony Cemetery. The stone is very badly weathered. The pictures are very hard to see. We thought we would write to you and tell you what we could make out.

We think his brother is next to him. His shows Tony camp# 5785.

Our curiosity was heightened with the camp thing. If you find out the meaning could you please inform us? Thank you. Pictures will be up soon.

I have connected the two memorials - are you related - if so, I would be happy to transfer the management to you.

Jerry Hassler
Elizabeth Helterbran Hassler
No. 53588836 Do you live in Pawnee City? I visited last year and took pictures of Hassler tombstones but due to time restraints wasn't able to research editions of Pawnee Republican. Do you know if there is a project to scan the newspaper so one can look for articles. A.E. Hassler, editor, was my great grandfather. I did find the article on my grandfather's (Avery Holmes Hassler) marriage to A.E.'s daughter, his first cousin, Erma.

Hi Nancy. I've transferred this memorial to you. I don't know the gentleman at all and I figured that you cared enough to go after his death record, you must be a kinswoman. So enjoy. :) Sharon
