Joseph Cropper's mother is Annie Scarborough (65403363). I would appreciate having her memorial transferred to me, also.

|James Coston||Brooks Lacey, Lamon Cemetery|
I was in the Oakwood area yesterday trying to locate my great-grandparents resting place (which I have been searching for for 20+ years) when I pulled up Lamon on findagrave and noticed that U had placed the only entry for it.
That caught my attention, so not having any luck on my personal project, I decided to go over and check out Lamon.
Don't know if U have been there or not but it's in extremely bad shape. Kinda obivous that nobody takes care of it. Even one couple has had their individual side-by-side markers knocked over by a large tree limp, it's still laying on the markers. I had no tools and the poison ivy was heavy everywhere. Oh well, putting that aside here what took place.
I photographed "every" tombstone or marker that was readable. Not sure how many there were because some were group shots, probably 80 shots total. I posted the cemetery location shots already but findagrave has yet to clear them for viewing. I'll start with the individual ones in a few days. As to your entry for Brooks Lacey, I haven't looked at my fotos but I don't recall seeing that marker, just wanted to give you a heads up in case there is a personal connection.
Later, James Coston

Re: correction that you sent to me. I believe we are talking aoubt 2 different couples. You sent me the marriage of Mary Jane Gammon to George Harriman. On Eddie Alice's death certificate her parents are listed as Edward Harriman and Jane Moffett. The witness was her daughter.

Thank you very much for your inquiry about Margaret Royall. I cannot find her in the line of Richard Royster Royall or his son W. B. Royall. I looked for her as a blood relative and as an "in-law" relative. We do have a lot of relatives buried in that cemetery. I thank you for your dedication and thoroughness in seeking her relatives. If I come across her in other research, I will know where to go. Thank you again, Nan

Would you happen to have taken a photo of his headstone, should be military, when you took his parents if he is near? Will be glad to do a request if needed. I know how large the cemetery is and didn't know if he is buried near his parents Peter and Ruth Molenaar or not.
Thanks either way
