I extend a very sincere thank you and apology for the 3 month lateness in acknowledging the lovely token you left for my loved eldest brother.
He is now with our parents and in God's keeping.

Please resend your edits on these memorials as the memorial link is not populating for some reason. You may need to send as "other" so it will generate a readable email. Thanks !!

You left suggested info on Sylvester and Ben Weaver. Sylvester was my great grandmother and Ben my grandfather. Are you related to the family? I've had trouble find accurate info since Weaver is such a common name.
Thanks in advance

Hi , I went to cold springs today. E. Long is in Section S, Plot 65. No stone but I did find other Longs. Minnie Long 1878-1947, and Robert Long on same plot.(my photo was poor so I could not read his date) I will go back if needed.

Sorry it has taken so long to reply to your question. Edward isn't relation to us. Sometimes as we walk cemeteries my husband and I just randomly take pictures when the mood hits us and this might of been one of those times or we had a request for a picture. I hope you are able to determine if Edward is family and good luck with your research. I feel your pain Erica and if I can help you in your search let me know.

|Stephen Keefe||RE: Bradys in NC|
Sorry for the delay in responding. I had documented and entered memorials for a number of Brady's and their kin at Pleasant Grove, then later discovered that many of there were not related after all! There are a few that are related to me, but very few. I am descended from John Abner Brady of Carroll Virginia, whose son Nathan E Brady fought in the Civil War. He and his wife Nancy had a daughter Olive, who was my mother's father's mother. It has been fun investigating and documenting these folks, even if they were not related to me. I'm glad this helped you! Steve Keefe

Thought you might like to know why I was interested in her -- her brother Cyrus (Find A Grave# 55868160) is one of a small handful of Cumberland County soldiers from WWI who are buried in Europe.

|Becky||RE: Julie Ferris|
I have looked at the cemetery book. There are 4 Ferris individuals listed as buried in the cemetery. The other 3 have the Section, Lot and Grave number. Julie is listed but with no plot information. I can show you where it is in the cemetery. There were no stones placed on their graves.
Her obit states that her funeral was in St Peters and she was buried in the Catholic cemetery.
I located her obit and have posted it on her memorial and updated it.
I hope this gives you some new information about Julie.
