RE: May I have your Permission
Dale's grand niece is my cousin Charles Limb's niece and she is one of my Facebook friends. I learned about Dale from her. All of the information I posted on his memorial I found on line and I am not the owner. These heroes must be honored and remembered. I should have quoted sources and I hope I didn't make it sound like I was the author.

RE: Give Jesse My Thanks
Thanks Robert, What a cool Blog! I will be spending a lot of time reading Twila's stories. Another one of of my relatives, Albert Osborne, served in WWII. We knew he was a sergeant but didn't know what branch until I read one of the articles he was mentioned in. He lived in CA and died in 1986. Thanks again! I will pass along your thanks to my dad and I extend mine to you for your dad's service. Theirs is truly a generation of heroes who's ranks are thinning far to quickly. Thanks for your work keeping their memory alive.

RE: URL for the Obituary on UDN site
Thanks Robert. I hadn't thought to look for an obituary. I have read many stories about my ancestors in the Rich County Reaper. Edwin is my Great Grandfather my grandmother(Sarah Pope Limb) is his oldest daughter. I've heard my father use the McKinnon name in stories. I think he worked for a McKinnion before WWII. Are you related? Thanks again.

Family Line, Family Tree
All the family will be thrilled to see this link, I believe, as we certainly were, to the very lengthy family tree. We followed back just the males on the top, all the way back to the 'year dot'. It goes past that into BCE, but we don't trust that information, as too many records would be lost. It does lead to aristocracy and royalty. Am currently trying to find verification. The book "The Complete Book of Peerage (of all UK)" is very difficult to decipher, and an original copy at Amazon cost almost $3,000. I expect the LDS folks would have one. Anyway, will be looking for alternate ways to prove true. If it is indeed true, then all we folks of the McKinnon line go back to ancient royalty; talking 500AD roughly. Check it out:
My husband is the great great grandson of Archibald McKinnon,Sr.
Very happy to have found this page, and so many relatives (I do realize this is a fraction). Is there any book printed that covers the lineage as shown at the above link? The history of it all is fascinating.
