Could you be so kind as to add his burial location to the memorial so it can be automatically added to the photo request?

Location: Section 26, Lot 151, Space 6

RE: Frank Balcerzak
The man who usually answers the phone at Calvary is named Frank. He is generally very helpful and I believe the phone number is on Calvary's main F-A-G. Good luck!

No, I do not know the family. I am working on clearing the photo requests from Calvary Cemetery and looked up his grave location today. Hopefully I can get the photo this weekend.

Rank prefix
You can cheat the lack of correct rank prefixes by adding it to the beginning of the persons first name. I tried getting them to add more USAF ranks (I was a TSgt), they blew me off.

Harold is buried with his parents and brothers Orville and Frederick. No info on his sister, I'll have to look into it.

Would you please add links to his parents in the meantime? Their memorial numbers are: Father - 111804303 mother - 111804466. I'll let you know if I find anything about Gladys and will create memorials for his two brothers.

Hi- it won't allow TSgt SSgt or MSgt, you just have to use Sgt. This is ok. Then just put the specific one in the Bio or in the Military field.
For the ones that have TSgt or SSgt they were automatically imported that way from a large listing by ABMC/CWGC. I know I don't like it either, they won't allow all military ranks too be listed, as they state there are too many different ones. I actually got them to list FO because they had WO there but not FO, it is different than the rest.
:/ eh O well we just have to work with what the guidelines will allow, unfortunately.

John Adair
I have made a duplicate after searching the cemetery & not finding a memorial for him, but i'm not quite sure which is a cenotaph & which is the actual burial of Sgt John Hiram Adair. I was hoping maybe you have the answers. My memorial for Sgt Adair is memorial # 103537261. Thanks for your time.

I transferred all my soldiers to a GenWeb supporter. I have asked him to delete the record that I made... yours looks awesome! As you can probably guess, I am a Civil War person, not so much with WWI and WWII. Thanks for the help with his parents... Jacki

RE: Ernest W. Wagoner
Hello From Indiana!

I'm sorry to say that no I do not know any of this gentleman's family. I just happen to have been filling a request for a stone near this one and took the photo. When I went to see if there was a memorial for him at this cemetery, there was none.

This is just a plaque placed at the cemetery in his memory. He is not buried there. If you notice in the photo's it says "In Memory of".

I would be glad to turn over this memorial to you, if you are interested. The Wagoner family is a large family in this area.

I have seen census records that show Ernest lived Miami county which is a neighboring county in 1930, and 1940.

Once again, I would be more than happy to turn over this memorial to you. Then maybe you could mention the memorial plaque in the Mount Zion Cemtery. This cemetery is only short distance from the county line, so there is a strong chance the plaque is near family members in the cemetery.

Thanks and Happy Holidays
Annette Wise

RE: Marry Ann Fuccilo
You're very welcome! I wish the inscriptions were clearer, but the stone is very worn there from the Florida sun.

RE: Marry Ann Fuccilo
Roman, I just put Mary Ann's husband's headstone on her page also so you could see it. I can remove it when you want me to, if you want me to. The stones are older and the sun has really faded them out. This is the best quality pictures that you'll probably get. I can retry when I go down there again, but when they're this faded nothing helps.

RE: Marry Ann Fuccilo
Hi Roman, the surname is on her husband's side. I put his on his page. There's no surname on on her side. You find that alot down there.

RE: Joe Marinello, Brooklyn 2
Hello Zin. I received your message. I will be happy to answer your question about where the burial information for Joseph Marinello Jr came from.

First of all, I am not the original creator of the memorial ... it was transferred to me from the original creator (the US Dept of Veterans Affairs). Secondly, the burial information (the cemetery and the grave site) was already in place when I assumed management of the memorial. I had no control over that.

I looked at a close-up view of the memorial marker photo you added (with the aid of a magnifying glass) and it seems his name listed on the marker is John J. Marinello. Could it be that the middle initial of J stands for Joseph, making his full name John Joseph Marinello? If that it the case, then I will soon change the name of the memorial accordingly. Perhaps we can find something by researching under John Joseph Marinello Jr instead of just Joseph Marinello Jr.

I will work with you as best I can to make sure Sergeant Marinello's memorial becomes as accurate as possible. Thank you so much.

Sgt. Joseph Marinello, Jr

I saw your message to Glenn about Joe as I was leaving a message for Glenn. If you haven't found what you're looking for yet, I'd like to help in any way I can. I'm a bit of a genealogist, and I might be able to find both ancestors of Joe as well as living relatives.

Let me know if I can be of any help!

Happy Holidays!
