RE: Birely Family
Where I fit into the Birely Family? I was born into it, my father Marvin George Birely, was born in IL, as his Father George Henry Birely was, his father Walter McCellan Birely was born in Maryland, as was His Father George J. Birely, whose father John George Birely, was born in Germany, as was his father Friedrich Ludwig Beyerle Sr. his father Johan Michael Beyerle Germany. I was Born in Iowa, we have Birely relatives from Coast to Coast and everywhere in between, and many im sure We do not even know about yet.

that probably makes it as clear as mud how im connected to the Birely family,I do know the Howe and Bushey names are in my lines through family members that married in to those lines.

Best Regards
Fritz

I will check at the office today, I am going to All Saints Braddock to take pictures. There is a listing of the burials at this cemetery at the following location:

http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~tandnmca/allsaints/bradcathnamesrtos.html

but that reading was done before 2008.

RE: Bell Family
Hello Heidi,

My link to the McGlothlins is via Phebe Mann who married Charles Ely McGlothlin. Phebe's father, George Fleming Mann was also married to my great-great grandmother, Eliza Jane Coffman. Phebe's mother being Mary Ann KISTLER.

George F Mann has been a mystery for those of us trying to track him historically. However pieces of the puzzle are starting to fall into place.

But we have yet to figure out where he was buried or where he came from Officially. Oral history has him coming from Pennsylvania, but where he disappeared to after living in Kansas is still unknown.

I really did not ask about further information. There is a little bit, death and age on the burial list - index they have posted on line. You can find the link on the home page for Lake View cemetery here at Find A Grave.

Julie the gal in the office will also conduct a search of all records for about $10 and put together a packet for you.

I do know she is not buried next to any other Waldron people.

Michael Bushey d 1821
Hello. Michael Bushey was my 4th great grandfather. I am looking for his wife, Catherine (Kinzer) Bushey. I do not know the date of her death, but she is said to have been born in 1758. Do you know if she is buried at the same cemetery?

Thanks,
Heidi (Bushey) Howe

Sorry Heidi, I don't have any more information on your Michael Bushey or his wife.

Good Luck with your research

The information was obtained from Adams Co. PA cemetery records and Rootsweb. I can't confirm the data from rootsweb, but cemetery records from Adams Co. should be able to be obtained from the Adams Co. Historical Society or on-line sites such as Genweb

I found some info on Catharina and husband Johann Michael Buschi. Johann b. Aug 1754, d. 11 Nov 1821; Catharina b. abt 1758 in Adams Co., d. bef 1858. Both are listed as being buried in Lower Bermudian Cemetery near Lake Meade in Latimore Twp, Adams Co. I would look up church and cemetery records for that area for confirmation.
Johann Buschi was the son of Johann Nicholas Buschi (6 Jan 1723 in Rhineland-Pfalz, Germany- 7 Feb 1813 in Reading Twp., Adams Co. PA) and Catharina Schmalenberger (17 Jun 1731 in Trippstadt, Germany - 8 Jul 1780 in Adams Co. PA)
They emigrated to America on 23 Oct 1754 on the ship "Richmond"
Johann Michael's other siblings were:
Christian b. 4 Oct 1750, d. 12 Sep 1826
Daniel b. 1751
Johann Heinrich b. 1753
Rudolph b. 1760
Nicolus b. 1761
Wilhelm b. 1762
Johannes b.13 Jul 1763
Maria Saloma b. 13 Apr 1765
Rebecca b. 17 Mar 1767
Anna Margaretha b. 20 Dec 1768
Catharina b. 25 Jun 1770

St. Marys Cemetery
The office at St. Marys is not very good about locating grave sites for non family members. If you call them and ask them to locate the grave site as a family member they are usually prety good about it.

RE: Alice F McClurg
YES YES YES....

You wont believe this but JUST today I just found her gravesite!!!

I went there looking for her daughter Jessie and we were cleaning her site and sweeping it and washing it as it had rained and there was mud... and it was as if someone was telling me to look over beyond and so I walked a few feet and looked down and there covered by grass and weeds was Alice F. McClurg and William.

I took a photo of where I was standing in relation to the grave to prove that I would NOT have seen it. Someone was tapping me on the shoulder!!!

She is not even listed in the California death indexes so I did not know where to look.

I just made the memorial and added the photo

RE: Mitchell H Bushey
there's nothing to managing a memorial.
If you receive or know info, you can add bio, obit, full dates and locations. the 'relationship link' allows you to add memorial number of spouse or parents. memorial numbers are at the bottom of the page. photos, you can add 'person', 'grave', 'family'. when you click on add photo, at the top of the page is a selection which defaults to grave. change it to add family or person photos, then those display at the top of the page. if you manage a memorial, you can delete photos and/or change photo order. anyone can add photo, but only delete those they uploaded, and only manager can change photo order. usually family manage memorials as they are aware of relationships with other memorials.

those of us who add from records or photos don't know missing info, like maiden names, marriage dates, birth locations, children. we don't even know the very next grave is related.

RE: Lyman R Hopkins
I'm afraid I don't. I was in that cemetery getting some photos of some relatives stones when I saw that crypt. Above ground crypts like that are uncommon in this area so I took a photo of it also put it here.

Have you tried asking in the Hopkins genealogy forum?
