Thanks Colleen for your kind words of sympathy. It's been horrible for me, but I know I have to keep on going and that's what I'm trying to do little by little. It's said that the worse thing that can happen to a mother is to lose a child, and sweetie, I can honestly tell you it is. The sadness, the pain, and sorrow comes from so deep inside you, that I think it is why is so hard to get over it. In fact, I don't think one can ever get over that at all. Colleen, It's still hard to believe my precious daddy is gone... Thank you for touching my heart with your kind note. It meant a lot to me!! I want to say also thank you, thank you, thank you.. for always remembering my family by leaving notes and flowers. I am sorry I have not been at Find A Grave except to add another family member or friend. I know God has a special place in Heaven for people that are so giving and caring, as you are!

Hope things are going along smoothly for you, there in Oklahoma. We had a big snow storm come through here on Wednesday and Thursday. Some towns in the region had ice, causing down power lines and tree limbs. Some may not get power until next week. They called in the National Guard to help residence with clean up in town of Worthington, Mn.
Its not too uncommon to see snow in April, here. But, not to the amounts we got this week. We had over a foot of snow. Hopefully, warmer weather is on its way.
