Thank you for trying to find his marker. I'm surprised that one was never placed.

William and Edna Graff--Harveyville
Thank you so much for entering the photo's of the gravestones. William is actually the father of Edna. His wife Sarah moved back to Iowa after William, and daughter Edna died. And is buried in Shelby, Shelby County, Iowa. William is my husband's 2nd great grandfather; am so relieved that caring people like you and your wife help with maintaining records. Kansas is a hard state to search records and cemetery data. Thank you, again.

RE: Lemuel Earley at Harveyville, KS
Hi Bill! Thanks for the photo. Too bad Lemuel has no headstone, but proximity to his brother helps confirm that I have the correct Earleys. I'll send you some bio links as an SAC when I get them ready. Lemuel and Moses Earley are my 2nd great grand uncles.

Best regards,
Wade Davis

RE: photos
Hi again, you're right about the drama...alot on here have got 'copyright fever'. There are limitations to what one can do with a photo of a headstone, so why all the fuss! l'm like you, if anyone wants to use my photo's, then they are welcome. My motto is...if you don't want others to use your photos, then DON'T put them on the internet!! Common sense really.

l've been on here less than 2yrs. l love it, it's been a tremendous help to me, in more ways than one. And the majority of people l've had contact with have been wonderful, including yourself. So again, many thanks. The photo in question is on a memorial for a third cousin of mine. l've added it to my family tree and credited it to you.

Sharon.

Hi Bill, l was about to ask your permission to use one of your headstone photos but then l read your profile, saying that anyone is welcome to use them. l just wanted to say 'thank you' for your generosity, if only there were more folks on here like you. Many thanks for all the work you do on here, it's especially valuable to people like me who live on the other side of the 'pond'.

Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year from England.

Sharon.

Thomas Reid
Thanks so much for showing me where Thomas Reid is buried even though there is no stone. Do you know if his wife Mary is buried along side of him or any other Reid's that are buried there? Thanks again. You are a peach:)

Thanks for adding the photo. I have been working on linking the family and it just helps make things complete when there is photographic evidence :)

Thank you for trying to find Lodeema's grave. I appreciate your looking. I don't have any idea where else for you to look, so I'll just assume it's unmarked.

William's Last Name
Bill,

Thank you for posting the picture of William Mohney, as well as the date information.

Unfortunately when you typed in his last name you put the n before the h (Monhey). Could you please fix this for memorial #131501507.

thank you

Thank you!
Bill & LeAnn Stephens,

Thank you for posting a beautiful picture of our infant son's grave in Mount Auburn Cemetery in Topeka, KS. You mentioned that if you post a picture on this site it is because you took special interest in our family member's marker. Lance lived just over a month because he was born with a fatal disease, but he touched many lives at the hospital where he was born, and the other hospitals where he was transferred as we struggled to keep him alive. We believe that God has a plan and purpose for every life that He creates, and we thank God in knowing that Lance is still touching lives, as your gesture of kindness is living proof. God bless you and your family and all the lives that you continue to bless through your gift of photography and heart of compassion.

Re: IRA and Doney Burkharts headstone
Thank you Bill for taking my uncles IRA and Doney Burkhart headstone however I still can't read the inscription. The one that was posted previously you couldn't see at all. So when I requested it to be retaken again through Find A Grave request... I made note of this on my request.

BILL, if you are ever out at the Topeka Cemetery again could you please roll back the grass or debris so that the inscription is clear and readable. Any way thank you for the photo.

Mary E. McGill
Thank you so very much for getting the picture of Mary E. McGill's headstone. I apologize deeply for just now finding it. Looking at the date, it arrived the day after the rememberance day of my oldest son's death and that was a hectic time receiving a lot of e-mail messages from friends and I somehow overlooked it. I deeply apologize. Thank you again.

Bill, as always you did a great job in taking the picture of the McKight's. I am sorry about being able to go to Burlingame and getting the picture you requested. I have been there a couple of times but hadn't found them. But I hope to make it back before the weather gets to bad. (unfortunately I can only walk so far at a time, since I am have limited abilities) It takes me sometimes several trips to a cemetery to find someone. SORRY. But again thank you so much for taking my request.
