Lena May Bansill (1st Wife of David McFaul)
Hi Joe:

About the first wife of David McFaul (61480090): There are two records for this woman on Find a Grave. One shows here buried in Pritchard Cemetery, Elwell, Gratoit, Michigan (record 40684777), the other shows her buried beside her husband in the same cemetery as her husband (record 61480087).

Personally, I think both records are "truthful", in the sense that they are both backed up by evidence. Evidence for the burial in Pritchard Cemetery is the record of death that states she was buried there; evidence for the burial in Riverside is the presence of the footstone with her name on it.

My guess is that later in life, David McFaul could afford to have her disinterred and buried together with him and his second wife at the family monument in Riverside Cemetery.

I'll leave it up to you to sort this one out...

Newton Clark
Joe, This is such a mess, only family could understand. lol

Parents were George H. Clark & Phebe Shadduck.
Phebe's second marriage was to Rynard Schnepp
However she was Rynard's 3rd of 4 wives.
Rynard's 1st was Louisa Stout DeWitt.
They were Clara Louise Schnepp's parents.
Clara married Newton and William Clark was her and Newton's only child. They married 15 Oct 1888

Now Newton had married Ida Ada Tipton on 27 Oct 1886. He married her twice, again after Clara.

This mess all started with Rynard Schnepp believe me.

I hope I have explained this to you and you get it. Just let me know if you don't understand.

Linda---from the Schnepp family

Paul Waterfield Memorial # 5828006
Joe, I was very surprised to see that Paul's wife Beth had passed away in 2007. I went to school with Paul he was one or two years behind me in high school. I think he graduated in 1964 or 1965. Because I graduated in 1963. I was about 5 years younger than Sharon and about seven years younger that (Foxy Beryl Jr). My Mom worked with Sharon at McCloud's confectionary in Lambertville and my dad was on the Fire Dept. with (Swat Beryl Sr). I was wondering if you could answer a couple of questions that I was wondering about. I think that Sharon may have been cremated but was she eventually buried somewhere or are her cremains with someone in the family. Also where did Paul's two children end up and how are they doing. I hope they are doing well.

Hi Joe,

I added the information that you requested. I'm sorry about duplicating John's memorial and would have been fine with deleting mine. I try to be careful because I see a lot of duplicates on Find-A-Grave. If you are related and would like me to transfer this memorial to you, let me know.

RE: Reinhardt Schnepp Snypp
Hi,

I have found so many different spellings that it isn't funny. Where I got this information from was...Berks Co. PA. Historical Society and the DAR, Daughters of the American Rev. His name was listed on his two sons military records and I think also in the Red Church in PA. Are you a decendent? I would love to share with you. He went in the service with his brother but neither knew how to write English. On the roll call both boys were under Schnepp, but when Reinhardt collected his land grant, it came with the spelling Snypp. His older brothers came with Snep. Some of Leonards children used Snepp and some Schnepp. Later they was Snap but...on Reinharts line, I never found anything but Snypp. Two of Leonards daughters went and lived with Reinhart just long enought to marry into the Coy family and on their marriage cert., Snypp was used. lol. The Schnepps went to Ohio with the Coy and Apple families and a woman on the internet named Connie Coy has a diary one of the Coys wrote on the trip.
I posted a tree on the net in 05 I think but continued to work on it. I did a zip file about 2 years ago and still have it. But, I lost everything on my computor about 6 months ago and it really hit me hard. I am thinking about starting back but I just don't know. Like I said, one is on rootsweb and it is about 1500 pages printed out. One good think for you is that all Reinharts decendents that I found used Snypp.

Keith provided all that information and I have no access to his records. I do know that a lot of his memorials and the information in them came from obituaries listed on the Rutherford Hayes Library Obituary Index. That may be a source for at least some of the information. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Hello Joe, sorry for the timely delay in reply, I was getting ready for a medical mission to Guatemala and neglected the computer for awhile. For this memorial #45022776 the picture is nice, I believe it is one I have from the Gratiot County Historical Society. Took my sister there in spring of 2013 and we were impressed with all the information obtainable there. Thank you for adding this.

Joe, More than happy to transfer Charles, Mary or/and Samuel to you if you want. I don't know if there are headstones or not, but you could put in a request to see if someone could find anything, plus a note in the bio stating the differences you found in the dates of death etc. If you find you would like them, just use the edit tabs on all three to request.
