Dangerfield
Sharon: Notice your website at find a grave site and have a couple of questions. First, do you know the location of the Dangerfield cemetery on Rutledge Drive ? Second, according to information from the Dangerfield Bible and Alexander Dangerfield’s marriage record and his death certificate his wife’s name was Virginia (Jennie) Frances Hammack (also spelled Hammack), the daughter of Abraham and Mary Mease Hammack. Her sister Senia married Hiram Lucas.

William Hudnall gravesite
I live in Michigan and while on vacation in W.V. took pictures of Civil War vets. and their families. I usually take pics of anyone near that have the same name. Hudnall grave was in a vacant area with possible dips and hollows where graves could have been. This cemetery had few markers bur many obvious unmarked graves. Sorry I can not remember exactly what was next to him.

By the way if you added his biography. Loved reading it and the history involved. Why I like Findagrave.

Someone complained about pics of the obits being in there, I'm sure so Ancestry told me to take mine down. I had over 500 posted and I'm down to 250 ugh! Email me at lightfootchristine@ yahoo.com so I can send you that obit.

RE: Phillip James Powelson
Would you a copy of the obit or did you get one off of Fund A Grave before Ancestry told me to remove pics of the actual obits?

I bet they put the wrong parents in obit. Sad how many gravestones have wrong dates and misspellings and we can only take each piece of info with a grain of salt. But it does make genealogy fun! I am just a volunteer. Are you a relative?

Proctor family
Hi Sharon, I seen you made the page up for my 2nd Great Grandfather William Harrison "Harris" Proctor in Find a grave. I was just wondering if you lived close to the cemetery or would know of someone that did that could take a picture of his headstone and his wife's ( my 2nd Great Grandmother) Janette Jennie Hudnall Proctor. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You for your time. Carol Ash

Thanks for passing along the message to Joe for me and getting the connection made. Thanks Joe! And for the explanation of how to link children. I will keep that in mind for the future. :)

Have a great day!

Martha Evans
Sharon, I need some documentation on Martha Evans and Wm Hiram's marriage (which I got from marriage record in Kan Co) as Sept 5, 1875. And the date of her mother's maiden name before I can change them. For Mary's maiden name I have Martin. My grandmother gave that to me and Mary was her grandmother. So I assumed she knew. Either one of these could be wrong somehow, but that's what my sources told me. Let me hear from you and we'll get this worked out. My e mail address is lagniappe110@yahoo.com

RE: Charles F. Shyrock
All I know is they were from the Pumpkin Center area. Some references I've run across say Flintstone and some say Oldtown. My wife's grandfather was Thomas Marvin Shryock. I knew him. He was a very interesting man as well as his wife. She was Carrie Elizabeth Bishop Shryock. She just passed in 2006 at 103 years. I research my wife's family too so I don't get too bored with my own. Charles Shryock was the son of Lewis G. Shryock. He lived in Flintstone. Lewis' wife was Phebe but I'm not sure of a maiden name. I use Ancestry.com and Findagrave for most of my information. My inlaws live just out the road from Pumpkin Center. My wife is Sandy Cooper. Her mother is Sally Louise Shryock Cooper. I'll probably be sending you more information in the future. Thank you very much for your help. P.S. I found Charles and Sarah's grave and hope to find Lewis' grave soon.

Not sure if you are related to the individual or not. Trying to do some genealogy research. I have great-great grandparents from the Midland, MD area by the name of John M. Kelley and wife Cordelia Coleman that I am researching. I have no information on John's parent's but know at some point they came from Ireland. I do have information on Cordelia's parent's though. Her father's name was Benjamin Coleman and her mother's name was Mary (no information on last name). Their daughter (my great-grandmother, Laura Virginia (Kelley) Spiker was described as a lifelong resident of Midland. So, that leads me to believe that her parents were as well. I was wondering if you would have any information on John and Cordelia Kelley because as of yet, I cannot find anything other than their marriage record and census records. I cannot find any death record for them. I thought since this lady was a Coleman Kelley that they were possibly related and that you might have information if related to them.
