Rena Bell Thrasher
One of the Thrashers I posted, Rena Bell Thrasher (Jan.26,1890-June 7,1976)has a memorial that is listed under Rena Bell Farr. The dates match so I posted them and alerted the memorial owner.

I posted several Crittenden Memorial Park Franks pics (with more to come) and so far I have run across 2 photos that I have that do not have memorials.... Gladys Junior Franks (Apr.12,1932 -Feb.14,1990) and William Cefus Franks (Feb.16,1931-Feb.15,1986)

RE: Allen S. Thrasher
Allen is buried right next to Lorene so I would say that they are related but how, I could not say without knowing more than the headstones offer. The pics are posted of all the Thrashers that I have so far (that have memorials) There are a couple that do not...Wanda Lee Thrasher (Aug.17,1923 - July 12,2010) and Ruth (Thrasher) Tabordon (April 2,1925- Oct.15,2003) Ruths headstone and that of her husband are attached to Abe and Zoras Headstone.

Thrashers and Franks
I took several pics of other Thrashers and I believe Franks as well. I will send them to you or post them to a memorial (If they have a memorial already made) as soon as I get back from my sons football scrimmage game, this evening. If I do not already have the names you have requested, I will find them for you this weekend. Consider it done! No thank-you necessary, I do this because I know exactly how you feel when you are given even just a little piece of a loved one to hold. I used the memorials for genealogy info as well, but either way,it is a great feeling to recieve AND TO GIVE that gift!
(I smile and say to myself "hello ___ Someone has been looking for you" with every photo I take. There's nothing like it. =)

Kathy Robinson
John Norton, Time Cemetery, Pike County, Illinois
I just uploaded some photos to John Norton's memorial at the Time Cemetery, Hardin Township, Pike County, Illinois. I wanted to let you know the date on his stone differs from the date on his memorial. I have sent an email to the gentleman who created the memorial in hopes he can clear up the confusion.

John Norton's tombstone is on the right of his wife Zeruiah's, as is the custom. If the date on his stone is correct, she was 24 years older than him! Her tombstone also states that she was the wife of John Norton, so I feel he was her husband and possibly the date of birth is in error.

I just wanted to let you know.

Jacob and Margaret Foreman

You had left a message for me regarding the headstone in the Time, Pike County, Illinois cemetery. I had said I couldn't find one and then Kathy Robinson did find it and posted a picture.
You can see the picture of the headstone on memorial #92442834 for Margaret Briggs Foreman. Three of their children's names are on the back side of the headstone, Elizabeth, George and Alexander Russell Foreman.

RE: Margery Pulliam White
You are welcome! It was sad to me to discover what had happened, too. The descendents apparently approved the move. Here is the link to what happened:
It was an interesting search for the cemetery but to me a sad research result. I'm just glad there is a monument to the lives of these people, even if it is far removed from the original cemetery.

RE: Clement Violette

Yes, John, Isbella, Clement and Ethel are all buried in the same lot. Freeman and his wife are in a different lot with their names on the same marker. I don't have any information on the O'Donnell's but if you think they are buried here in maine, if you give me information on them I will be more than glad to see what I can find.

RE: Jacob Foreman
Peggy, how are you related to Jacob and Margaret Foreman?

Several years ago we were visiting Time, Illinois and I searched every headstone in the cemetery and then went to the county seat and looked at the plat.
This area was the closest I could come to indicating where they were buried.

RE: Nathaniel S. Norwood
Hi Peggy - When we were last at Old Prospect, Jan. 2010, I photoed every legible marker in the cemetery. The others you have requesed there, to the best of my knowledge, are probably there but the markers have fallen victim to the sad ravages of time and weather. Best Regards!

James A. " Jim " Green
Hello- James Alonzo " Jim " Green and wife Minta Etta " Mintie " Frances Rose - Green did have headstones at Oakwood United Church Cemetery as I would visit their graves with my grandparents. Sadly, the type of headstone made for them crumbled to pieces. Several Green and related familied used the same person in the family which made headstones. My great grandparents is now crumbling like many before have done. -- Their son Robert BOB Green was cremated and buried there by Alma. James and Minta had 7 children - 4 of which were born deaf. 3 daughters, and 1 son which was Robert we called him Bob.

James Alonzo Green
Ms. Carrigan,
I have double checked, and am sorry to report that there is no known, or readable, marker for Mr. Green in the Oakwood cemetery.
The lady that made the burial listing, Carolyn, is a decendant of his and she may know if he is buried there with no identifible marker, or she may have created the listing as a memorial.
