I am a descendant of the Kendell/Kerns' from West Virginia. My great-grandaddy Arza Kerns left West Virginia to get in on the drilling rush in East Texas. They established a successful water well drilling company (Kerns Water Well) that drilled many of the city wells of East Texas. There are now 4 generations of Kerns' born in Conroe, Tx.
