This is my great great uncle. If you are not direct family, I would appreciate you transferring this memorial to me so I can have the entire lineage.

Thanks in advance!
Michelle

also..
I forgot to say: In any email you send to Edit, put what you want done in the header-Merge memorials, Delete duplicate, whatever. I understand they delete emails that are headed "Help" or whatever. If you encounter a cemetery mess, message me, I know someone that loves to tackle those.

Inactive contributors
Hi. I saw your message about how to deal with inactive contributors.

With the new edit system we can submit edits and they are done almost immediately. This is a great help.

If you need to add other information to a memorial, you contact Edit@findagrave.com-not Info. You include a direct link to the memorial; to get a short link to send them, click on the Memorial tab at the top left of any memorial page, and it magically shortens the URL. So copy/paste that to an email, tell them what you want added or done to that memorial, and keep it short! The shorter, the better- they dont want a long explanation. Be sure to send this email to yourself, too, so you can follow up on it if there are any problems.
If you find a dupe, send Edit the links to both memorials and ask for one to be deleted, or merge the two.

They unfortunately will no longer transfer memorials to you unless it's within the relationship guidelines.

Ashley H.
McLean Family
Elizabeth McLean Nixon Henkle was born in Iredell County according to census records. That is all I know for certain. She lived close to an Eleanor Elvira McLean Nixon who married a brother of Elizabeh's first husband. These families were also intertwined. A daughter of Eleanor married a son of Cyrus Hinkle and his first wife.

Dr. William Bain McLean lived near Eleanor Nixon. I suspect that he and his first wife, Amanda Hill, are Elizabeth and Eleanor's parents, but this is only conjecture. I have no real proof of the link.

Is it possible to get another picture without the
shadow cast by the fence? If not I will look for another one elsewhere. I live in Texas so am not able to go to the cemetery myself.
Thank you,
Mary Jane Bernard

RE: Hutchins Burton
In re: "Inactive" listings, you need to contact Findagrave (info@findagrave.com) in order to get them to transfer management to you. This can take a while. I would suggest that you keep your memorial and write them - two or three times if need be. Hopefully at some point you will be successful, obtain management of the original memorial and then can delete your duplicate. It's the best way to go, as sometimes someone new will come along with some connections and delete your memorial as a duplicate out from under you. Good luck!

Armstrong
Do you know anything about the Armstrongs buried at Unity Presbyterian Church in Denver, NC? You took a photo of Joseph Armstrong (1831-1904). I am trying to determine if this was great-great-grandfather.

Sarah Hager Womac at Unity
Hello,
Thanks for including the inscription from the Wamach marker. I am wondering if it is the marker for Jesse Wamach? Do Jesse and Sarah share a marker?
I am researching this family and have a number of holes in my genealogy. This information is helpful in filling some of them in.
I don't suppose you have a photo of the inscription? Someone else has posted a picture of one sideof the marker. Would you be willing to submit a photo request to get a picture of both sides of the marker? I'd love to have it as documentation for my files.

Thanks,
Ramona
