Anson County Cemeteries
Maybe the surveyors talked with the people who have the small cemeteries on their personal property. Like I said, one of the surveyors is a historical librarian, so he digs for info. The names of cemeteries on Findagrave are provided by individual contributors and not the Findagrave staff. Have a super day.

RE: William Davis Cemetery
The book sure does have the John Edwards, Sr Cemetery listed with 22 marked stones and 8+ unmarked stones. The owner is listed as Troy Edward's daughter.

RE: William Davis Cemetery
One of the surveyors was the Stanly County Historical Librarian and I have called him several times for information. The owner in 2012 was listed as Robert Ross.

William Davis Cemetery
Don: According to the surveyed cemetery book 'These Hallowed Grounds', the correct name for this cemetery is Kean-Meggs Cemetery. I created it today as I didn't 'see' your 2 entries until after I had created it. Sorry. If you need help with getting the name changed, I can get it done.

It was sunny enough for me to get a picture today. I might replace it with something nicer in the spring or summer.

RE: Milton A Neumann
122331072 is the number for Milton A Neumann's memorial page. The office at Graceland Cemetery, where Union Records are kept, says that he was buried at Union in 1948. This fits with the date that the family ordered the marker. I went out to Union this afternoon and found the Neumann family plot. Milton must have a flat marker, since I was not able to see one sticking up from the snow. I will do a bit of shoveling to try to uncover the marker. If that does not work, the picture might have to wait for some snow to melt.

Alsey Kean/Keen
Mr. Meggs,

I believe I have some info on Alsey. She had at least 4 daughters from the 1820 Cumberland CO., NC census. I believe Tempy was one & for sure she had a daughter Clary who married Minton Jones of Wake CO NC. In some way Alsey was relate or involved with my great great grandparents James & Edith Renfrow in Cumberland CO. NC from an indenture deed. It could be that Alsey could have been a step mother to Edith. I have been working on this family for years & at a stand still. I would be happy to share what I have.
