Andrew M. Copeland
I was wondering if you were a direct descendant of Andrew M. Copeland, I have come across a photo of him in an antique shop near my home, I am wanting to get it back into the hands of family.
Please let me know if this is a ancestor of yours or if you could point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

RE: Sallie Hatfield
Her death certificate lists her as a widow. Do you know the name of her husband? I wasn't able to find a marriage record for her in the state of WV but the town she was from (Devon) is right on the WV and Kentucky state line. I didn't have any luck finding State of Kentucky vital records. I'm also thinking there may be an undocumented Browning cemetery in that area. Also, there are numerous headstones at all the cemeteries that can't be read. We may have found her, just don't know it.
Good luck on your search.

RE: Sallie Hatfield
Sorry I couldn't find her. The cemeteries down here are very poorly maintained, they are badly overgrown with weeds and trees so it's very possible she is at one of those cemeteries. I plan on re-visiting one of them in the spring. I found some Hatfields in the right time period and my gut says there are more there. If I go back in the spring before the weeds take over I may have better luck.

I would love to link her children, but sadly I do not manage their memorials. The link has to be made from the child to parent, not the other way around.

John Copeland at Mount Hope
Hi. I added the pic for John. Also, I created memorials and added pics for those buried with him. His wife Kezia (d.1885), Alice M Hawley (d.1889), and John and Kezia's son Edward R (d.1876).

This is an old cemetery and there are graves not marked. Roots web has volunteers that photograph and document all the graves in old cemetery's. Below is a link to Kendall Cemetery and clickable links are photo's of grave stones, sadly it shows Floyd Smith doesn't have a stone because there is no link. I'm very sorry.

Catherine, I simply took the grave photo and posted it. Someone else named timelessspirits found the grave and posted the memorial. It takes us all working together to create a good memorial.

Burial year is 1851, not 1951.

Your memorial #92763295 is a duplicate. The other one has the photo--just uploaded.

Catherine, You are very welcome. I do not remember seeing any other Copelands, but it was getting dark and I was so happy to have found Edward. It is not too far, I will go again soon to see who I can find.

As far as I can tell the Henderson Cemetery is on priviate land. I have been trying to find someone to lead me to it. The cemetery is on a rural road with about a dozen homes and farm land. There are no visable headstones from the road. I'll keep trying to find it. The historical society here doesn't know where the cemetery is either. I think this is the case because it is a family cemetery, it is small in size and very old.

You've made a photo request form a memorial page on which a photo already exists. The photo is of an unmarked lot. There is no stone to photograph. Click on the photo to enlarge it and reveal a caption explaining the photo.

The only other Thomas Bracher in Green-Wood is Thomas W. Bracher (buried 11/23/1899) in section 139, lot 22759.
