William Thomas Owens siblings
I noticed in FindaGrave the memorial for William Thomas Owens, b. 1837 in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

I have traced my ancestry back to James L Owens, b. 1825 in South Carolina.

Is there any chance that you have records connecting these two people?

RE: Emma
Weird. I had taken a photo for a request on Thomas and Mary - I guess since I wasn't on the lookout for Emma, I didn't see her stone! Oh well, if you post the photo you have, I can try to find the user who made the request and let them know.

Hey Jason,
Thanks for writing me back. I think Uncle Barney had siblings but not sure. Have to ask my mom's cousin Carrie, who I guess is a distant relation to you too lol! Really enjoy this site. Working my Dad's side of the family now that my mom's is pretty much done.
Take Care,

Thank you for adding Ollie and Calvin Owens. They were my Great Uncle "Barney" Edwin's parents. My Great Uncle by marriage. He was married to my Great Auntie, Margaret Wolfe Owens. They lived in Blachly, Oregon all their married life. Thanks again!
Joel Smith
P.S. I think Ollie and Calvin had more children, maybe a daughter? I thought Uncle Barney had a sister.

Carl Lansden
Memorial FAG # 52067579
Hello Jason Owens:
My name is Carl Lansden, Find A Grave # 46968416.
I would appreciate some information on one of your postings. Pictures on Find A Grave Memorial 52067579. Ms. Larcenia E. Carrington. According to the memorial you placed a picture of Larsene Freeland on the memorial. My question to you What, if any, is the connection or relationship between Ms Carrington and Ms Freeland? The second question. Did you establish the link between Ms. Carrington and James S. Freeland? If so, what is your source of information. Mr James S. Freeland is s distant relative of my family and Was a Cumberland Presbyterian Preacher. I do not believe he was married 2 times. Please advise.

I have been unable to work my find a grave projects for the past 2 months. I have more time now and will check the graves in that order, if you do not already have the information.

RE: Hi
Hi! Glad to hear from you! Did you ever find the Allcorns you were looking for?

If you hadn't found it yet, the website is just If you had, then carry on. :P Just be warned it has more errors than it really should. Sometimes the info is spot-on, other times it's ridiculously off. I mostly use it for doing requests (its existence was pointed out to me by a requester a few weeks ago) and a backup source for my section-by-section work.

Wow, and for being such a huge state, Texas sure is a small world! Is it Rebecca Bellazora Provence (b. 1868), or a different one? My grandmother has a more detailed Provence book that a distant cousin out in California complied a few years back. (He's on here, Collie Provence.) Would love to know how we're connected that way. Feel free to email some trees if you have the time.

Let me know of any transfers you want and I will gladly do it. I am not related to anyone in the Brenham area cemeteries, so I have no attachments to them. (At least I don't think so. There are quite a few Humphries's in Prairie Lea, but I have no idea yet if I'm related or not.) I also have some Alcorns that I added when I was helping clean up the Old Gay Hill cemeteries (#1 & #2) here on Find A Grave. Anything I have that you want, you can have it!

RE: Eldon West - Purcell
I would like to thank you for all you have done. I was going off what was on findagrave website for Eldon West. I have been looking in my tree and haven't found that name again. I have found a Allon that could be close but not sure. This side of the family is huge. Thank you for your time.
