RE: Margaret Ann Schultz 89774238
HI Margaret. He is not in the Dutchess County Old Graves... I have that one. Just wish those obits would say where they are buried. Well, at least you have the grandparents and Alexander Hamilton Schultz is a name that should jog the mind. Somehow I think this one will solve itself just by the one family connection. If you want to transfer the memorial, I will keep an eye on the little one. Might be the DAR will have some info as there is an application record on that branch of the family.

Thank you for the update on little Margaret's memorial. Let's both keep her close in the event that we can find her Mom and Dad.
Thanks again, Chris

There are no stones for him, his wife, or any of his young children that died. I spoke to Ken Bohm many years ago, and he said he can't figure out why none of the stones are there. My Great Grandmother, her brother, and his wife are there, but no one else.

Glad to help. I wasn't sure if it was correct as the dates didn't match, but then figured maybe the request was to help clear that up. Sure was a hot day out there today. Had to end our headstone searches early.

Thanks for all your replies! I am working my way through the two cemeteries here to try to take pictures and input all into Find A Grave. I might find more of your relatives. Keep an eye on the site, or email me of specific name(s).

Charles L Hyde
Marie, Do you know if Charles L. Hyde is buried in Woodbourne Reformed since there is a gravestone there, but no death date? Sanford's Obit said Charles was in Freeville at the time of his death. Should I leave the Charles entry on the site?

The book only lists names and dates not what section they are buried. Have you tried contacting Wiltwyck; 845-331-0199.

Marie,
Thank you so much. It really struck me as an incredible coincidence that he would be in the same numbered vault in a different cemetery. I will check with NYCMC this week and obtain a definitive answer as to his whereabouts.
Thanks, Su

RE: Bellows
Marie,

I found an obituary for Townsends wife, Euphemie, and it is mentioned that Townsend died 30 years ago from the date of her death which was March 2, 1934. So that would put his death at about 1904.
In the obit is listed children and that she (at age 20) and Townsend were married in 1871.
Also found an obit for their daughter May who died Jan. 9, 1946. Another obit for their son Joseph who died June of 1943.
If you would like the obits I could transcribe them and email them to you.

Marie:

Found this addition info on Franklin and Clarissa from a local family tree.

Children of JOSEPH MORSE and NANCY PARKER are:

23. i. ELIJAH PARKER3 MORSE, b. August 14, 1815; d. May 28, 1899.
ii. CLARISSA MORSE, b. November 24, 1817, Roxbury, NY; d. April 11, 1905; m. (1) FRANKLIN BELLOWS; m. (2) MARK STILLSON.

More About CLARISSA MORSE:
Burial: April 14, 1905, Halcottville, NY

It appears Clarissa also married twice.

RE: Franklin Bellows
Marie,

Not sure if this will be of any help to you, but sending it your way just in case it is. This indicates that Franklin Bellows had two wives. Matilda Ackerly being the first and Clarissa second. It says Franklin is buried in Bellows cemetery in Bedell, NY. I don't find him in the Bedell Cemetery.
