RE: Jacob Turney
Hi Elizabeth, I don't really know too much about my Turney family, but I do have lots of names & info. Seth McGee married Sarah Turney about 1872, & then abandoned the family. I found children (the boys) living in different homes in Ohio as "borders", and Seth living in McKean Co. PA, with a new wife & more children. I thought at first that Sarah had died, but still wonder if she went to live with others, or perhaps she remarried?? The Turney family has been around the "area" for many generations. I haven't followed every line/branch off of my main line, and I don't have the names you mentioned, except for Joseph. Do you know who Joseph married? I'm sure that if your people were also in the Westmoreland Co. to Armstrong Co. PA, then there is probably a connection somewhere. I also have seen the Turney name spelt several different ways. Sorry, I wasn't much help. You can reach me directly at tymtrvlr at Leslie

Guy Campbell
Dear Elizabeth:

I was in the Bay Area last week and had an opportunity to visit the Chapel of the Chimes, where Guy Campbell is inurned. (I guess that's the word for it.) It's a truly beautiful place. I took notes and photos and just now created an online memorial for him. I've linked him to his parents, so you can get there from his mother's memorial.

You're welcome for the photo...sorry that he wasn't the Robert Campbell that you are looking for. I do a lot of findagrave requests in the Ligonier Valley so if I find the right Robert, I'll be sure to let you know.

Dear Elizabeth:

I'm going through my notebooks creating memorials for graves I have visited. I was surprised to see no memorials existed for Earl and Emma Oberdorfer. So I created them, added links and photos, then transferred maintenance of the memorials to you. So you can add whatever data and photos you want. Let me know if there's anything else you need me to do.

Estella Campbell
We have been out to El Reno a couple of times and both times have tried to find the stone for Estella. There are some stones in the area, but are unreadable. We will keep the infor for her and see what we can do about getting the names off some of those stones. For the record El Reno Cemetery has her name as Ell Campbell. I thought I had reported this to find a grave, but guess not

James Robert Campbell
I'm sorry that James did not have a headstone, but I did photograph the plot where he is buried. The good news is that I discovered that his second wife, Daisy, is buried next to him.

I was at the Public Library this morning looking through microfilm and pulled James' obituary. I think you will find alot of information in it.
