Hi Bill. You may want to remove your picture from this memorial. Part of the name is cut off.

The plot picture you have on this memorial isn't the correct picture. It is a picture of the Atkinson plot just across the lane.

No, I'm sorry to say that I haven't had the time to follow up on this and I'm not sure when my schedule will free up. Unfortunately, the other volunteer who did this kind of look up moved to Texas. I'll leave it on my to-do list, but I'm not sure when I'll get to it, especially with the holidays upon us. My apologies.

By the way, if you look at the photos I took, there are two grave markers - one specifically for the elder Thomas Carr and then a granite stone that simply says Carr. It could be that both were installed for the same person, but the headstones definitely span 2 burial plots. I heard that there is an older cemetery plot map at the local headstone company that has names filled in the burial plots. I'll try to get by there soon and see if there is more information about who is buried in the space with the granite headstone.

I posted the grave photos for Thomas Carr. I'm glad you're figuring out the mystery!

I received your photo request today. I went to Greenmount Cemetery and found a grave for a T. E. Carr. The grave marker says 1863-1911. So I looked in the local mortuary records and there is a record for a Thomas E. Carr who died 14 Feb 1911 and was 52 years old (that would be approx. 1859 birth year). The memorial says 1873 birth year. Do you think this is the same person? If so, I'll post the photos.

Thank you for making the change to Estelle's headstone photo. The photo is fine and I certainly don't blame you for not wanting to disturb the anthill. I had more than my fair share of fire ants in TX.

Thank you so much for fulfilling my requests at Madison Historic Cemeteries. I greatly appreciate your kindness and the generosity of your personal time in visiting the cemetery, locating the burial plots, photographing their markers and posting your nice photos to their memorials. Through your photo of Kathyrn Zachry Everitt's marker, I obtained her husband's birth and death dates and have added a memorial for him, Henry Olin Everitt, to the cemetery. I knew she was married to him but was not certain of his dates and place of interment. Thank you!
I had a request posted for Estelle Davis Zachry (1870-1919), the 1st wife of Asa C Zachry (1868-1940). You posted a photo of Asa's marker to her memorial. Did she not have a marker as did his 2nd wife, Mary Davis Zachry? Just wondering.

There are no new photos on the page, only a very small one put on by the lady who made the memorial, which is not at all readable and will not click to a larger image.
That is why I ask for another photo. You can not be sure it is even right!
Could the lady who has the memorial have taken it off?

Julia Moxley is in my family tree. Her mother was a Bowen. That's my maiden name & one of the names I research.
Julia is the daughter of John Howard Moxley & Hester F. E. Bowen. The family is listed on the 1910 census in Baltimore City, ED398, page 15A.
I do have more information if you want it.
I'd be interested in where you come into the family.

You're looking in Melrose's Mount Calvary Cemetery for Michael H. Coughlin (1889-1950).
I couldn't find Mike there with those dates, but among all of the Coughlins there I found Michael H. Coughlin (1872-1950). I posted that grave marker to your memorial.
Do you want me to leave that grave marker with your Michael H. Coughlin, or remove it and create a new, additional Michael H. Coughlin memorial?
All the very best, Bill
