Thank you for the transfer of Thomas Jack Whitt
Carol,

Thank you for the transfer of Thomas J. Whitt. The photo that I posted was one that I had in my family photos. He has a sister, May Whitt Donaldson that is buried in that area. She died in Castroville so please keep any eye open. Thank you for the posting of Thomas "Tom" Whitt, otherwise I might not have been able to find this family.

RE: Castroville Public Cemetery
I called the cemetery office this afternoon. She said no other Whitts were listed in that cemetery. Thomas Jack Whitt is in Blk4 Sec. 27, Lot. 16. Gave me some other numbers...keep your eyes open for more Whitts.

Thanks,
Marcus L. Whitt

RE: Castroville Public Cemetery
Thank you for the quick reply back. I might try and call the cemetery tomorrow. I thought if Tom is buried there...maybe the rest of the family is there also. They might be buried there close to him. I know the dates that a few of them died and they were in Monterey County.

Subject: Thomas Jack Whitt

Have you found anymore Whitts in the Castroville Area. His mother, Icy Ann Bryant Whitt should be buried somewhere in the area, and brothers, Woodrow W. Whitt and a Kenneth Whitt. Their father is Fredrick Clark Whitt, buried in the IOOF Cemetery, in Fresno California. Fred was a brother to my Great Grandfather Vince. Look at my listings on Findagrave.

Thank you,
Marcus L. Whitt

Thank you so much. In my memory, they are in the northwest part of the cemetery, across the little street from a small building (caretaker, perhaps????), under a tree. The office person did find them today using those guidelines, so I hope they will help you, too.

Once again, thank you for your time and help :)

RE: Eldon McBride
I had only in the last two months discovered his name and rapidly discovered birth and death info. I was grateful to find that a memorial was already in place, but I will be asking the memorial owner to add his birthdate. Thank you again.

We can't thank you enough Carol. How sweet and thoughtful to place flowers on the headstones. I was so happy to know that Cecil is with his brother and sisters. Cecil never married and he never had any other children. It's a long story, but I'm so glad we found him and you have given our family this precious gift. God Bless You!

RE: Delia Norris Black
Carol,

Thank you for picking up my picture request. My husband and I were actually up in King City back in Jan 2010. Elias Clyde and Nancy Jane (Pattie)Norris are my husband's 2nd great grandparents. I am venturing out of my comfort zone a bit and adding these pictures and others to Find A Grave. That is when I realized I didn't take a picture of Delia (Sedalia)'s headstone. Thank you the offer though! Lisa
