According to funeral records, he is actually at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery in Grass Valley. If you could change the cemetery location, I will claim the request and take the photo. Thanks!

The cemetery has no record of Trilby being buried on their premises. After my second trip to find your photo, there is nothing new to report. Richard is buried in a non-endowed section of the cemetery.

I was just at Lone Tree cemetery and they have no record of her (or her husband Richard) ever being buried there. However, I have an older list of those interned at Lone Tree and she and her husband are both listed but no specific locations are given. On the surface it sounds like the cemetery just can’t find her (them) but that seems pretty unlikely because knowing where their “clients” are is their business. I have a good report with that particular cemetery so I don’t think they are giving me the run-around. Can you add any insight? I’m willing to “go the extra mile” if it will pan out.

Thank you for your suggested edits, which I've accepted. Are you related? Do you know the relationship of Harry to the others sharing his grave marker? Would you like me to transfer him (or the others) to you? Regards, Charlie

RE: Ella Amelia Cheney
I am also sorry that we could not locate George and Ida. The Cheneys seem to have a rather large lot in Oakwood and we did check the newest records and compared them to records that were put together in the 1980's. Both records confirm that George and Ida are buried there but there was no sign of a headstone in the 80's either.

RE: Cheney
I'm sorry the stone isn't in better shape. I took my photo and tried to zoom in to make out more of the words. It's a prayer, or a poem, and I can read a few lines and words but that's about all. If you think there's any chance that you could manipulate the original photo to read more, let me know and I can send it to you.

RE: Lawrence M McGrath, Jr photo.
I did not take the picture of his headstone. Click on the photo. and it will show who did. I doubt it has a virus as he has/does post 1000's just to the CCNC site alone. More likely your browser is being picky. Try shutting the virus control off for this one operation. I tried copying the photo. and had no trouble. Maybe your genealogy program won't let you import/export from Find A Grave or vise versa.

I wanted to let you know I fulfilled the photo request but the permanent marker has not been installed. I used a photo of the section Charles is in for now and will follow up until the permanent install is complete. I have several others in that section so I've been checking on a regular basis. I would think they should be completing them soon(ish).
