Phelan headstone
Hi Martha
I saw your photo request by accident and, as I live in Waterford, I shall try to oblige. However, St Mary's Cemetery is quite big and it would help enormously if you knew the location of the grave.

I'll have a go anyway and might be lucky.
Best wishes

Reams photo request
I have submitted you Reams rquests but there was another headstone with the Reams family. The name is Rebecca Thompson 1830 - 1913 & I have submitted it.
Her death record did not list parents.

Gaymore,Gayman,Gamen, Gehman, Evans
Hi Martha - I was doing a little research to try and get Nancy's maiden name straight, since she is listed as Nancy Evans at her 1853 marriage to Levi. I looked at all the available records I could find and also at your tree and now I am thoroughly confused. Nancy's alleged mother, Susan, appears as "Evans" on every census from 1840 thru 1870. She is Evans on her death record and on her tombstone. Where in the world did David Gehman/Gayman come in? It's starting to look as if Susan was the merry widow and had a fifteen year fling with the hired hand - lol. Can you clarify?

Clara Fairchild
Do you know if Clara was buried next to Russell?
On the east side of him there is at least a four foot blank space and on the west side there is nothing from him to the fence, about ten feet.
If you think she is there, I will stick the ground and see if her marker is buried.

Photo Request
Hello, I'm a find a grave photo volunteer who lives near the Memorial Park Skokie, IL. There is some confusion about photos at this cemetery, but when I contacted the cemetery, they said photos are allowed. However they will charge me $10 for more than one lookup. You can call the office and request one lookup. If you can post the location in the photo request I will attempt to get the photo for you. The number is 847-864-5061. Please don't email me with the location, because there are 180 open requests. Susanne D.

Grave Recorder
Ernest Prader
I see that you have a photo request for Ernest Prader in the Irving Park Cemetery in Chicago, IL. It would be very helpful if you could call the Irving Park Cemetery office at (773) 625-3500 and see if the will supply you with the Section Name and Block Number for her. There are many requests that I will try to fulfill but I can't walk in there with a list of people or they won't look them up. Explain that you live out of state and that you have a genealogist coming in the photograph the headstone of your family member. Hopefully they will supply you with the information. The cemetery is very large and will take a long time to find it just walking around.

If you could do this for each request that you have for this cemetery, it would help.

Let me know if they give you the info and what it is. I will then go and fulfill your photo request.

Thank you.

Best wishes, Dana

Tom Frew
Thomas Leo Phelen Photo
Hi Martha,
The picture that I added for Thomas Leo Phelen is too small to read. I have a larger very clear photo that I will replace it with. Give me a day or two. I am traveling and having trouble with my laptop. Meanwhile, Thomas Leo is b. July 24, 1908 d. Aug 10, 1965. He is buried with Mary Katherine b. Mar 5, 1906, and d. Nov. 25 1989.

I have added photos for Daniel and Lula Croy, but was unable to find Andrew. There was an older marker which was illegible very near Lula and Daniel which might be Andrew. I will send it to you via e-mail, and you can decide.

I also took photos and created a record for David Croy, Hannah Croy, Michael Croy, 1901, Michael Croy, 1879, David E. Croy, and William Jesse Croy. Thought perhaps since they were in the same cemetery, they might be related.

Queen Graver
Prader at Mount Carmel
Hi Martha,

While out at Mount Carmel today I fulfilled your photo requests for William and Margaret Prader. Buried with them are their two sons, William and Raymond who died as children. I have added them and transferred to you.

Another volunteer has claimed Margaret Prader Walker so I will wait to see if she fulfills it. If not, I will upload my photos.

Take care,
