FIND-A-GRAVE MEMORIAL #93821057
HELLO:

There are two find-a-grave memorials for Mary Baskett Phillips.

Find-A-Grave Memorial #93821057 was created on July 18, 2012. Find-A-Grave Memorial #107458793 was created on March 28, 2013.

I would appreciate it if perhaps you could confer with the other person and decide which memorial to keep. Please be sure the burial information is included on the remaining memorial.

Mary Baskett Phillips is my 3rd great-grandmother.

Please let me know what action has been taken.

Thank you very much!

RE: William Davenport
Carol" I took my information that William Davenport was buried in New Providence Cemetery from a book written many years ago by Clara Lee Shewmaker Rhoades on her family of Davenport and many other of her families. That is all the proof I have, so maybe he isn't buried there with the rest of his family. Sorry.

RE: joab Houghton
Ha ha! Yes. You asked about the engraving on Joab Houghton's marker and wanted to know if the engraving was on someone else's marker. I walk around town almost every day and go through the Kingston Cemetery (when it's not freezing or snowing like today), so the next decent day I will look. Not sure I remember where it is, but I will do my best! Eileen

I deleted my memorial even though it was created first. The other person should have been told to delete theirs, not me, but that doesn't seem to matter. Links are easy to add and not a good reason to be told to delete a memorial. Hope you are now happy.

Wanda Goins
Mabel Alexander Price
My name is Wanda Goins . Mabel was a sister to my grandmother ressie alice goins. I saw her death certificate and looked for additional details to her tragic death. Can you help me. I know nothing about her and, unfortunately ,I never ask any questions of my grandmothers family while she was alive. I live in NE Oklahoma. Her death just seems so awful to me. Also, she moved back to WV after being born in either Mo or Ok where her parents lived. Can you help with more info.
Thank you. Wanda

RE: Lucy T Phillips Bartlett
You're very welcome. (She's my 3rd g-grandma) It's great to know we can all share info and help each other out!

Just to let you know, the small stone in front has L. T. B. on it. I think it might have been the older marker until the larger one came along. But I'm only guessing.

Thank you for your thank you!
Take care
Deanna

Carole,
You are welcome. It takes time to get them all in when we go we try to photograph the entire cemetery and usually do more than one in a day.
Glad to be of help.

RE: Wardell Memorial Cemetery
My source "Wanda" said she got her updated info from a relative in the area and made the change for my people over to Dry Bayou. I've found no official records or headstone to prove either way. Good luck in your hunting.

RE: Wardell Memorial Cemetery
It appears "Wanda" the creator of memorials #79909315 & #82796872 has recently changed the cemetery name to Dry Bayou Cemetery & it is located about 10 miles South-East from the town of Wardell. I have a distant cousin who lives in the Hayti area and I'll ask him to check things out when he has some time. What is your family members name?

Betty wife of Edward Mivelaz
Hi Carole,

Thank you so much for checking into this for me, I really appreciate it. I live in Kentucky and am close to New Albany Indiana, I will try to find address or phone number to see if I can verify if Edward's middle name is Jerome. Not sure if they can help with this are not? Still pretty comfortable that it is, as his brother Charles' middle name is Joseph.

Again Carole thanks so much for your help and look forward to hearing from you about Edward's wife Betty.

Peace & Blessings

Toni.

Mother of God
Thanks, Carole. I just wanted to have your memorial listed for the appropriate cemetery. Also, there is another burial place here in Covington sometimes called Old Mother of God Cemetery. It was referred to as St Joseph Cemetery before that name came into use, and since the early 1900s has usually been referred to as Buena Vista Cemetery. So there is a lot to be confused by in this city and its old cemeteries. Good luck in your research. I hope you find what you're looking for.

RE: James A. Montgomery
Happy to have found one you wanted. It was right next to his wife's stone but faces west so got photographed at another time, I guess. Any others from Frankfort Cemetery? Let me know. I am there a lot right now. It is deer and turkey season. It is as well not to provide an extra target along the fencerow during that time.

Edward J. Mivelaz
Hi Carol

I don't have any documentation to verify Edward's middle name. His brother is Charles Joseph, so I'm pretty sure Edward's is Jerome. His sister, my great aunt gave me a lot of their family info, however she is deceased now. Pretty comfortable with Jerome. I've checked some other genealogy websites, but they just list middle initial as J? Any questions or problems please let me know. Also,if you can provide the name and mailing address or phone number to the cemetery, I will be glad to contact them to see if I can verify this info.

I was also wondering about a photo of Edward's wife's tombstone. There is a memorial page for her but it doesn't mention what cemetery she is in. Her name is Betty Cummins Mivelaz and she is probably buried with Edward. If you get a chance to head towards the cemetery and have time to check would wonderful.

Thank you so much for your help Carol, you are greatly appreciated

Blessings!

Toni.

Hi Carol,

I will check, seems like his sister gave me the information, but she is deceased now. I will check my file and see if I can find out for sure. Edward Jerome Mivelaz was a twin to Edwin Julius Mivelaz, however Edwin died at a very young age, before age 2. Will get back with you on this and thank you so much for your help.

Toni.
