Re: Laura V. Johnson Longshore
Thank you Patsy, for deleting the duplicate memorial. I think we've all been guilty of doing this at one time or another, but as long as we make the effort to rectify it...that's what counts!

Laura V. Johnson Longshore
The memorial you created for Laura V. Johnson Longshore (#69743558) is a duplicate. I'm sure this was an oversight on your part... but would you please delete it?

Thank you,
Pat

RE: GOGGANS
You should just edit cemetery for the memorial. I had over 100 memorials that I had listed in the wrong cemetery. Those two cemeteries get a lot of errors I think because of them being so close.

Thanks for the transfer. I'm working on biographies for several relatives and will add her to the list of the ones that I'm working on. I hope Joyce or my mother might have a photo of her that can be added to the memorial.

You've done a lot of work on findagrave! I see your name a lot on memorials that I visit. I appreciate your hard work! :-)

Compare your entries in Pleasant Grove Baptist, Villa Rica, Carroll Co, and Pleasant Grove Methodist, Haralson Co. You will be surprised. It's for you and the other contributor to work out. I just noticed, because I was searching Georgia for Leathers... Happy Holidays

Brown family
Hi again,
Yes, Christmas is certainly a busy time. I wish I knew more about the Brown family but I think I have told you all I know. The Brown home and gravesite is in Temple Ga, Carroll Co. The funeral home thing was a different side of mama's family. Sorry about that. I have a photo of the Brown home back when mama was small and will send it when I find it. Hope you have a very Merry Christmas! Jane

RE: McBrayer-Brown family
Hello, It was great to hear from you. I have figured out how to add Thomas and Lucinda to the findagrave finally. You can look them up and connect them to Ardelia. I cannot because it doesn't work backwards. Only you can do that. My mama was born in 1907 so she knew nothing about Andrew and never mentioned him at all. She spoke often of Aunt Deli, pronounced like her name, only shortened. She also spoke of Aunt Jane Brown, another sister who was married to Peter Lewis and they owned a hotel somewhere close by. Somebody in the family was connected to a funeral home and it could be Ardelia. Do you know? It has been about 8 years since we visited to grave sites of Thomas and Lucinda. We went to the Carroll county courthouse and they helped us locate the property. It is on OLd Drakestown Rd. I have pics of the house. A brick house is built the left of the Browns and the graveyard is to the far left of the brick house when you are facing it from the road in a copse of trees. The Browns, my ggrandparents, John Fedrick and Mary Jane, lived there on a large farm and raised their children there. When mama was little, Her mama, Audie Brown Edmondson, would visit the Browns every summer for a few week. Mama alsays had a great time. She really loved Mary Jane and Fedrick who were called Molly and Uncle Fed by most folks.
Thomas Fleming Browns's father was William Brown b 1806 in S Carolina and died 1843 in Henry AL and his wife was named Margaret. The Browns came from Ireland and were dirt poor according to mama but very happy people.

McBrayer-Brown family
Hi,
I just saw your site of Ardelia McBrayer and the Brown family is my mom's. Ardelia's father, Thomas Fleming Brown was my grandmother, Audie Brown's (Edmondson), grandfather. His grave site is beside the old Brown home in Temple Ga. His wife, Lucinda Blackwell's gravesite was barely visible and the writing on Thomas's grave was barely readable. My mother lived to be 100 and we took her there on her 96th birthday and she knew where the graves were and helped us find them. I have not made a site for them because I don't know how to do one that has no cemetery.Let me know if you know how and I will put up a site for them. Thanks, Jane

RE: DUPLICATES
I believe I got all of them. There are some others but they are not mine. I usually don't add duplicates and I don't know why there were so many. Two cemeteries may have been listed and combined. If you see some others of mine that I missed let me know and I'll delete them. Thanks.

George Washington Cantrell 73358483
Hi Patsy, I'm sure we have spoke sometime ago. I keep the Collins Springs and Hooper-McWilliams Family Cemetery on Find A Grave. If you have seen them I'm sure you realize I have done years of research on all the people who were laid to rest at each. You have listed my grandfather George Washington Cantrell 73358483 at Riverview Memorial, I have listed his wife Clifford Martin Cantrell and will be adding one of his daughters and her husband this afternoon. I would like to ask if you would please transfer George Washington Cantrell 73358483 to me so I can take care of it as well.

Thanks for your time Patsy and all the hard work you are putting into Find A Grave.
