Thanks for your reply. I appreciate it. If I find out anything I will let you know.

Take care,

Cora Huffstutler Reid
Are you any relation to Cora above? I know she is listed as being buried in West Jefferson Freewill Cemetery but a volunteer has looked several times with no luck for her marker; and from my notes she and husband George Edward REID were divorced [his death certificate states that.] Do you know if she is there for sure? Just thought you might since you have the name HUFFSTUTLER. I am distantly related through marriages only.

Many thanks,
Dianne, San Diego Co, CA volunteer

I realize that this information was put here in 2009, so maybe you are not aware of the fact that Benjamin and Matilda Blackmon had more children that what you have up here. Their last child born was called Oneta Holton born on 26 Sept 1897 in Heads Ville, Robertson Co. TX and died on 29 Aug 1898 Thornton, Limestone Co. TX and is buried at Thornton Cemetery, Thornton, Limestone Co. TX. Her Find A Grave$ is as follows if you would like to go look? 150389302
Thanks, just wanted you to know this so maybe you would like to add her?

Grave Digger
Blanche (nee Smith nee Belcher) Rogers
Hi Louise,

Really appreciate your feedback. I happen to be online and read your reply almost immediately, but I have been taking some time to digest it - and am still taking time.

You see, I recently met a grand-daughter of Oscar Trig Smith who, along with her mother (a half sister of Blanche Smith), met Blanche in 1975. To be fair, I do not have any more details than that at the moment because both she and I were about to leave on personal and business travel for awhile. I've just reached out to her to see if she has returned and am waiting for a response.

As you can see, there is a bit of awkwardness that I hope can be explained away (with more time/research) as simply being 2 different Blanche Smith's that are being referred to. Intriguingly, the surname of Belcher is also common - and a key point - in my research.

When/if I have more, and if you're interested, I will let you know.

Thanks again.

Oscar Trig Smith
Well... maybe you can help me with something (crossing fingers). I'm looking for information on Oscar's daughter, Blanche Smith, from his first marriage with Pearl Ward Holbrook. All I know is her name (perhaps "Blanche" is a middle name?) from the 1920 US Fed Census.

If you have anything - even a rumor at this point - it would be helpful and very appreciated.

Hi Louise,

You left a "flower" on this Memorial (116492205) - did you know, or know of, this person?

Virginia Lee McMillian Belmont
FYI -- I have just discovered Virginia McMillan Belmont at Fairview in Pampa, along with husband Dewey Belmont. In fact, someone has taken a photo of their graves there.

I am thrilled that you and I have been able to honor your ancestor by recording for perpetuity the role he played in American history.

Thank you so very much for your lovely email. From now on, when I become exhausted from hours of research, I will read your lovely email for the incentive to continue.

Happy New Year!

RE: Stephenson's (Aaron and Bessie)
There was also a marker for A. J. and Isabell Stephenson close by. Neither marker showed a birth nor death date. Did not post them because I wasn't sure if they have passed.

John Moore
Davidson family
Today I added a picture of Asbury P Davidson to find a grave and received a note telling me you were informed of the picture. I assume you were asking for a picture but I was unaware of it. I have a small amount of research and pictures of the Davidson family, I am always happy to share and if I can be of help feel free to contact me.

Henry C Reid
Mrs Vannoy

Im Mark Reid and I am looking for my family's origins. My grandfather was Frank Audie Reid, Im not sure of how many full biological sisters (Ola Ann, Dessie, and Frances) grand dad had. He didnt speak of the family much.

Henry Camilious Reid appears to be my gr- gandfather but I cant say for sure who my gr- grandmother was.

There appears to be a "Dessie Loretta Culwell" but I cant confirm a spelling.

My dad was under the impression his grandmother whom he never met was named Mary.

Can you point me in the direction on who my biological great grandmother is?

Sorry, I cut off the very top of his headstone when I snapped the picture. I think it was an ornament shaped like a oval.

Hi Louise,

I was fulfilling photo requests at Willow Creek Cemetery near Vienna, Lavaca County, Texas, and took several additional photos while there, one of which was for Joel Vannoy.

I saw that you left a token on his memorial, and wanted to let you know there is a photo of his headstone now with his memorial.

RE: Permelia Elmira Yeilding Huffstutler
Actually Letha was married 4 times-oce after my my Grandpa Silas. I just now get the Copeland family connections!!! Thanks for pointing that out. wow, what head trip--don't think I would have put that one together without you--that must be how they met.

I have very little info on Letha--only have 1 photo of her. If you know more, please share. i've worked all day connecting the Yeilding on Findagrave. If you see errors, want to add bios, or I've duplicated something please let me know. I want to be as accurate as possible. Thanks.
