|Paul R||RE: Re. Edits|
I do not have a connection the the cemetery. I am working to make FindAGrave better. It is not immaterial if the middle name is in the first or middle name box. The FindAGrave search page allows for searches on first, middle, maiden and last names. If the middle name/initial is in the first name field, it cannot be searched for. If you have 'George Henry' in the first name field and someone searches for a first name of 'George' and a middle name of 'Henry', the search won't find the memorial. That is why I am trying to clean up as many memorials that I can find. With the edit system they now have in place, it is easy for the memorial owner to accept the edits.
I will stop sending you edits if you want. Do you want me to stop?

Thanks for searching for his grave. Apparently there must not be a marker. Just received email that the group was unsuccessful in fulfilling my request.

|Ima BC Graver||RE: Fitzpatrick in Nelson Memorial Park|
Hello! The register just has him as Fitzpatrick, Lambert (which is how the death was registered). He's shown in RCOL, Row J, Block S, Plot 34. The register says he has no marker, but I've found a few markers that supposedly aren't in the cemetery.
As it happens, I have a copy of the death certificate. Would you like me to email it to you?
I processed your birthplace edit for Cathrine Williams, but had to put Nelson back in as place of death because your edit dropped it.

I'd be happy to adopt Fosters in my grandmother's hometown... If I am in touch with others in the family, I can always move.
Thank you for your generosity of time and love.

One question, The British Columbia Death Record has her date of death as 17 Sept 1981, you have it as 9 Sept 1981. What is your source?

Yes, you`re correct ... I think it was such a weird spelling that when I spoke to staff at the cemetery they assumed it was `Louise`. Anyways, it is Lucy Larsen. Maybe I can change the stone one day. Meanwhile, number is 47438271. Sorry, email here is no longer friendly with hot mail it seems and I don`t have the ones they require. Thank you for the transfer and thanks to all of you ... I`ve never heard of another group who does so much!

|Lenore Hudson||Louise 'Lucy' Larsen|
The above person under your care is my maternal grandmother. The name Louise Larson on the marker was likely taken from the death registration. That information was given by Lucy's mother-in-law who did not know the correct information or who was misunderstood while giving the information. I have examined the information, however, and this is definitely my grandmother, Lucy Thompson Larsen. The illness, the death date and place where buried and the name of the mother-in-law, address, etc. all match up.
Would you please transfer this to my care?
