|Beth Sparrow||Stamms in Graceland/Shelby|
Gravestone photos are added on the memorials for surname Stamm in the Graceland (Shelby) cemetery in Nebraska. I've had them since last May (hence the nice green grass).

|Crista Ordway||RE: Weeden family|
The trip up to this cemetary was good! I enlisted the help of my husband and his 4-wheel drive truck. You need to go out a class four road which is primarily used as an atv trail, then you have to go across some private land, which oddly enough has a better road. However, we walked in from the "main" road to make sure we did not do any damage with the vehicle in wet areas of the private land. It is very beautiful and peaceful up there!
It was quite fortunate that the stones were still there! I think there are only about 30 stones left in the whole cemetary! If I recall correctly, several of the people here died from an illness around the same time. Not sure if it was spotted fever or another illness.
I think these are the original stones. Many of them are laying down, being held up, broken or sinking down into the ground. The town has attempted to keep the grounds up, but since it is a difficult place to get to with equipment it has become quite overgrown. I had to pull a lot of grass away to get good pictures.
I am hoping to get to the town clerks office early next week to do some research on my own family in another cemetary and will see what info I can dig up!
Always glad to be able to help!

Hi Keith! Thanks for the info on Florence Jarmin; I've updated her memorial. Are you a family member? If so, I'm happy to transfer her memorial to your care. =)

I should have just transferred the memorial to you instead of deleting it, I have had several edit requests on her memorial and they seem to be back and forth with alot of the information. Perhaps, if I start posting to this site again, I will upload the photo of her marker and that will help with some of the confusion.
I do remember your message and smile when I think of an 83 year old on this site. I believe that every person who has existed deserves to be remembered and I have enjoyed using this site to help remember some of them. It saddens my heart that some people think they should be the only one to remember a loved one.

I am deleting the memorial I created, I have gotten too many requests to change her info back and forth I can't keep everyone happy on this one so someone else can feel free to try.

You're welcome and thanks! I stretched it a little with Mary Ann Strahl! That stone was the only one I could find with the name of Mary Ann on it. The last name is totally unreadable. If you would like me to take it off, I will!

I am going to share your information, Keith for linking family names. It was easy and I appreciated your help.
1. Go to the name of the person's Memorial page
2. Click on [edit}, after Family Links
3. On the new screen, enter the father's and the mother's Find A Grave #s above (best is to copy and paste) into the boxes provided.
4. Click on "Save Changes."
5. The Memorial page will appear.
6. Click on your tool bar "Refresh screen" button.
7. The links you just enter should now show on your screen.

Hannah didn't remarry and died June 19, 1925. Her DC states burial in McConnelsville, Ohio but no specific cemetery. I created a memorial for her (#105613174) and placed her with her parents in Rosseau Cemetery.
