|George Glady||Rose Tierney|
Thank you very much for locating this grave for me.
Charles F. Glady was my grandfather's oldest brother and after serving in the Spanish American War, moved around the country and was out of touch with the rest of the family for long periods of time.
He was born in Hornell, New York in 1879. He was married three time but had no children. He died in 1949 in Los Angeles and is buried in the Spanish American War Veterins cemetery near Santa Monica.
Thank you for assisting me with another piece of my family puzzel.

Thank You so much for The photo of Gurdon Leffingwell's
Stone. You also tried to find Mary Leffingwell's. She was Gurdon's
wife so most likely is next to him and although her name was Mary
she went by the name "Polly". Maybe one of those two unidentified
stone you mentioned is next to Gurdon?
Again, Thank You so much for getting the picture and your efforts.
BTW, I love your stance on picture sharing and will respect it!

Thank You so much Ted for your photo of my 4x grandfather... I can't express how thankful I am to finally see the headstone. It is much appreciated.

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much! I am researching our family surname Mannering and we may have a connection with John Manwaring. I wondered if his headstone gave any other information, but, I can see it does not.
Thank you so much for taking your time and talents to fulfill this photo request.

I understood that you knew them. I'm sure they would be more comfortable working with someone they know than a stranger. But you can send it back to me to manage; no problem.

I am surprised there was a stone at all because it is so old. So many thanks for your efforts. It must have been tough trudging through the old cemetery and trying to read those old gravestones. I am directly descended from John Gardiner through his daughter Elizabeth. Now I have to go and find her grave as well as that of her husband John Chandler. Many thanks again.

Because you, or anyone else can reach me through Find A Grave messaging. If anyone has anything to say to me it would be through the Edit button and should be about a memorial I posted here.
If you want anything else, well I don't know.

|Bud||RE: Photo usage policy|
Say, are there any books on cemeteries and burials in Tolland County? Down here in Georgia there are loads of books put out by local historical societys giving the location of cemeteries and burials. Some are great and others are just lists.
Best regards, Bud, Ct. Yankee deep in the South.

Good Morning Ted.
The photos are for anyone's use and no need for credit to be given. It is my token to family researchers.
Happy Researching, Bud.
PS. Some of my early photos in Georgia are not good and if you happen upon any that you would like a clearer photo please do not hesitate to ask me. We can return to cemeteries in Georgia. The other states were a one time chance and I had to settle for what I could get. BB

Thanks for telling me that! I see you do the same, and I agree with you, I love it when others post their policy up front.
Bottom line, I'm just trying to help others with their family research as others have helped me, and as you said, it's nice to be acknowledged and given credit! :)
Thanks for all that you do and for all the great photos!

Please feel free to add any info concerning your ancestors. We are all here to share and many times we just add people because they are in cemetery; not because they are necessarily related to us. Just one way of sharing info so many are interested in collecting. Know how much this site has helped us in our research so if we can be a help, that is wonderful. Have at it! Thanks for asking.
