Vernon Grove
Hi Larry, Thanks for the help at Vernon Grove today. I uploaded all the pics and made a bunch of memorials. I unclaimed Austin Parkhurst since you said you had a pic of his stone already. Now you can submit the picture. Pine Grove might be out for tomorrow, I'll unclaim those people in case you want to get them. If not then I'll definately be there on Thursday morning.

Vernon Grove
Hi Larry, I see you unclaimed Vernon Grove, do you mind if I claim them? I've got time next week in the morning to traipse around the cemetery or if you'd like to keep them I'll be out there Tuesday to Friday between 8:30 and 10:00 to help you. Let me know - either way works for me. Teresa

Pynes of milford
hi Larry, I thought I'd try and give you a hand with Regina Pyne. I walked around the old section then I went to the 2 areas in the other section where they have babies and children. I didn't find her. alot of the stones were unreadable or missing so she might not be able to be found. Another thoght is that since she was a child perhaps she is burried with relatives like grandparents. Good luck with this one but you may need a caretakers help. Teresa

RE: Pyne's
hi Larry, I sent you an e-mail but it came back as unidentifable. I attached a very badly drawn map of the cemetery where the Pynes are but I'll describe it here. If you're standing on Rt. 85 looking at the cemetery and all it's many entrances. Look all the way on the left by the treeline. That's the entrance it's near. Go up that road only 20 - 30 ft. The grave is on the left at the treeline which is only about 20 ft. in. If you get to where the road forks left and right- you've gone too far. I'll be heading out to Uxbridge and Northbridge today but if you don't find her, I can help you next week sometime. Goodluck, Teresa

RE: Milford cemeteries
Hi Larry, I understand about meeting your match with St. Mary's. I went out there tonight and never knew how big it was. i got quite a workout but in the end I found 2 Pyne families. The 2nd was the one you were searching for. Next time you attempt to do St. Marys on your own please tell me, It's one that's not easy to do on your own. Teresa

Milford cemeteries
Hi Larry, I was just wondering if everything was ok, I saw that you didn't get those stones in St. Marys and now someone else is claiming in Milford. You've got competition. lol. My last day of school is tomorrow and then I'll be off for the summer so maybe we'll finally get together then. Teresa

RE: Milford graves
Hi Larry, Thanks for the offer, I went out with my husband and finished prospect hill last night. He's not as much an enthusiast as I am but he does like reading the old stones for their odd names and the such. I only have 1 small section left at St. marys so I think I'm all set this time. Are you all set with your Milford graves? let me know? Teresa

RE: Milford graves
Hi Larry, I was in your old stomping grounds yesterday, I was wandering Prospect Hill cemetery in Uxbridge. It's alot bigger then it looks from rt. 16., so I got a good workout. I havn't finished so I'll be going back another time. Then I went out loast night to St. Marys in Uxbridge, that one mostly has straight rows so it was easy to find people but it was getting dark and i didn't finish yet. I guess you could think of this as a morbid hobby, I think of it as history because I do alot of research of my own family. Have fun walking, it sounds like your doing well finding things. Teresa

Milford Graves
Hi Larry, I see you claimed the Milford ones, if you have trouble finding them let me know. I've got an odd schedule until school lets out for the summer, after that I'm pretty free. I did go out to Pine Grove in Whitinsville yesterday. I finally had to ask one of the caretakers for help. He was very nice and knew excactly where the grave was without consulting the books. All the scouts were there putting out flags for the veterens, it was nice to see. Teresa

RE: RE Teresa
Hi Larry, I'm not going to Whitinsville today, maybe tomorrow instead. Yesterday while driving my schoolbus someone ran into the side of my bus. I'm ok, I was checked out in the emergency room but I'm grounded today due to the prescriptions they put me on. Teresa

checking in
Hi Lawrence, you did a nice job with the pics and I saw you did take gps coordinates. Did you have fun. I'm going out to Whitinsville tomorrow to walk Pine Grove, this is my 1st time there so I don't know what to expect. I did spend about a week in St. Patricks looking for a few different names there, I probably ran across your relatives. The caretakers there are very nice and were quite helpful when I couldn't find a particular stone. Teresa

Milford graves & Teresa
Hi Lawrence, I live in Upton, I have been graving for abt. 1 month so I too am a newbie. I've done graves in Upton, Mendon, Whitinsville,Grafton, Hopkinton and now Milford. I have been doing my family geneology for years, though it's very difficult because most of my family is from the south- Texas, Tennessee & Kentucky. I've known about find a Grave for a few years but until a month ago I could not find any of my family on it. Then one day last month I decided to check again and there was my great grandfathers headstone right on my screen, it was so exciting. That was when I knew I had to be a volunteer and give back that moment that someone had just given me. When I'm out graving I try to think of it like it was my family I was looking for, what types of pictures and info would I like to recieve so I bring a pad of paper to write plot#s, area, hard to read transcriptions. I like your thought about GPS coordinates, that could be very useful. When I find the grave that I'm looking for I'll look at it's neighbors also because they could be related and the person asking for this info just might not know they are there. I've connected a few people with family members they didn't know about. I love a mystery and doing this is like solving one. The next Milford ones that come up are yours, if you need help or find a graveyard too big I can certainly help walk it with you. I'm a schoolbus driver and have the summer off so I'll be out graving. Good Luck, Teresa
