Eugene Crane
Eugene Crane is buried in the Cottage Grove Cemetery with his grandparents, Dr. William Crane and Olive Maria [Pease] Crane. The inscription reads son of Wm. J. and Elizabeth. The Find-A-Grave number is 18046076. You may want to ask for a transfer for this memorial so that you can link him with his parents, William J. Crane and Elizabeth [Davison] Crane.

If you call them and ask for the info they'll usually agree to leave a map out for the person you send. Call them tomorrow and ask for the plot and location of the grave.

RE: Edsel
Linda, You might check to see if it went in the junk mail folder.
I was just wondering if Hiram Roller stayed in Missouri or went to another state. I found him in the 1870 and 1880 Douglas Co. Mo census. I don't have my record on this computer but think that is right.

RE: Edsel "Doc" Roller
Hi Linda, My grandpa, John Clements , was the son of Sherman and Doc's sister Sarah Roller Clements so he was around his uncle Sherman a lot when he was growing up. Edsel "Doc" died when he was young but he was the one that told me Doc's real name was Edsel and I never heard him call Sherman Doc but that may have been a nick name they gave him and grandpa never used it.
They didn't have death certificates in Douglas Co. when Doc died and I can't find one for his parents Enoch and Margaret but thought maybe it was because they were buried in the family cemetery on their property.
How are you related?

topeka cemetery maps
I see that you have posted volunteer photos at the Topeka Cemetery.

Now that they are under new management I have been able to get good quality section maps of all 96 sections and have posted them at

http://www.billandleann.com/TopekaCemeteryMaps/ .

You can print copies of the maps from that site. I added a link to the cemetery database where you can look up names and find the section/lot info. This should make the job easier for us volunteers.

Linda,

Thanks for the compliment! None are relatives of mine. Almost all pictures are Civil War soldiers and from the Library of Congress or other historical societies.

Hi Linda,
Yes, the dates do match her son. He is buried with his wife Ruth. I'll be glad to add them to memorials when you create them.

RE: Solomon Reynard
Thank you again, Linda. There are several Civil War records that indicate that Solomon was buried in the Nashville National Cemetery. His headstone photo will prove one way or another. Was his body sent to Kansas?? I have seen this happen before. I look forward to solving this puzzle.

Linda....thank you so much for contacting me. I remember placing the request for the photo but for the life of me do not know exactly what happened to it. Yes, I am most interested in getting a photo of his headstone. Thank you!!

The cemetery gave me the following
Mona B Wagers Roller Hughes E 14 0210 4A
1895 - 1954
Any chance you have her full birth date.
We have 12/31/1886 ????
I do not know what all the question marks are for unless she died in December and they just used the last day of the year or maybe it means she died before year end. It could also be her birth date
