Connie, that would be fabulous if you would please transfer Scott's page. Thank you so much for putting his page up. I love any method at all that recognizes in some way a loved one.

Connie, it is sometimes tough to get help from the offices in the cemeteries. I do most of my research before I hit the cemetery.
If not for the information given by the office help we would not have known what became of Richard's burial. They deserve thanks also. Drop them a line, I am sure they would enjoy a thanks.
Glad I could help. Jim

Well I just looked back at my photo library and didn't find anything. I have a photo of all headstone' in that cemetery up until the last 2 or 3 years when I took them. I looked at hers and noticed that there was either another headstone connected or a vase on that end of it. I'm pretty sure it was a vase because I took 2 photo's if one was still living but just do not post or make a memorial for them. I did however find a Joan Fulgham Gillihan 1933-1964 in the same cemetery. I checked all the surrounding area cemeteries and didn't have anything in them either. Maybe he is still living?

Connie, I am surprised I missed that. The age of Lois would have made for an unusually old mother at the birth of Russell.
I did make adjustments on the photo discription.
As a rule I will take a grave location photo so others can see that there is or is not a marker. This is after all findagrave, not findamarker.

Hi Connie, Wondering if you are related to William Fultz # 70973418. If so, "Hey there, cousin!!" If not, would you be so kind as to transfer ownership to me.. Mr. Fultz was my 1st cousin, 2x removed. Thanks for your consideration, Irene Smith-Rice, Norfolk, VA # 47125162.

You are welcome. I'm working my way through the Bennett graves you requested section by section. Tonight I searched Section 8 for Clyde, David and Effie who are supposedly buried there, plus some other requests. I found Clyde and Effie next to each other, but didn't find David. The library has a 1989 book Cemetery Inscriptions of Sauk County, Wisconsin that I'll check to see it David has a stone and if it is in section 8. Sad to see that Clyde died so young, so far from home in WW I. I'll check section 4 soon to see if I can find William, Pearl and Lydia.
You are more than welcome to use my photos in your genealogy. Please let me know if you need any photos from different angles or group photos of graves.

I just wish I could get onto the property just once, take the pictures and leave.
There are only about 15 headstones because most of the graves were moved when IMTT took over the property.
They claim those that were left had no relatives to approve the move. So they were forced to leave the graves there.
Once a year they have a Memorial Day Tribute to those buried there, but there is absolutely no picture taking for security reasons.

Hi! Photos added for her.
R. O. Brierton, 1886 - 1964
Ella Nora Brierton, 1887 - 1922 (first wife?)
Separately I found the following while searching for someone else:

Arthur J. Marshall, Son of F.H. & P.E. Marshall, 1928 - 1939
Frank H. Marshall, Sep. 30, 1892 - Sep4, 1969
If you create the memorials (if needed) and add the photo requests I will add the photos I took yesterday.

The 1920, 1930, and 1940 U.S. Census' shows that James H. Bennett was married to Kathryn/Catherine Bennett and the ages approximately match the dates I gave you for both of them. His WWI Draft Registration also shows his nearest relative as Kathryn. Ace

|Ace||Francis Bennett at Oakwood Cemetery|
Hi! I posted one photo for Francis Frank Bennett at Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon, Illinois, but I have more. I have not posted others because the date of death that you show is different than what is on the monument. The dates on the monument are 1852 - 1929, but you show 1852 - 1873.
Note that there are other Bennett's in the same location.
1. Alice, 1857 - 1937
2. Lillie 1874 - 1949
3. James H., 1878 - 1956
4. Kathryn, 1881 - 1963
If you create memorials for them (if needed) and add the photo requests I will post the photos I took yesterday.

My pleasure. It is a lovely cemetery with wonderful shade trees in the area the Swicks are. Sadly, the cemetery has no section or lot markers, making it more difficult to find graves. Today, the office was closed so I could not ask questions. I had a rather obscure map I went by to find as many as I could today.
Please let me know when you have the site up for Mary and I will put the photo on.

Let me know.
