RE: Harry Williams
Hello,

You are correct. The Williams I was trying to place is a relative of my husbands. He was married to a Kilborn. Which also lived in both areas. As we did not start looking for his line till it was too late to ask anyone and very little information is available now. Plus his grandparents divorced and both remarried and that makes it even harder. I took the dc off the memorial and cannot imagine I did not catch it at the time. I try to check everything very carefully before I post it.

Thanks for the information and I will now try to find the correct Harry!

God Evening Looking Glass,

Please help me out here. I have looked at the two memorials you have in the message. I may be looking at the wrong ones but I am not finding one with a death certificate. I usually stay in the Ingham County area with my post. If you would send me the memorial numbers of the two people you are speaking about I would be happy to see what I can do.

Thanks,
Connie

Hi Tammy,

I made the transfer. May I suggest that you use the Edit button of the memorial when requesting future transfers. It is much easier for someone to make a transfer for you. The memorial will pop right up for them. You just need to make sure you include your Find A Grave member #.

Thank you,
Terri

Caroline Argue memorial
Please remove one of your pictures for Caroline Argue # 71572955. She is located in Brown Cemetery, Mecosta Co., Michigan. I would like to add a photo of her. Because of all your photos, I'm not able to add another.
Thanks,
Cathy

Phenix Family
Good morning! Thank you so much for the info. I actually lived in the Evart, Michigan area (just a few miles north of Eaton Cemetery) for 20 years. There were several families in Evart with the same surname of Phenix. I guess that's why the other spelling confused me a little. Once again, thank you so very much for the clarification. Have a great day!!

Phoenix family in Eaton Cemetery
I noticed there are two different spellings of the surname Phoenix. The headstones say "Phenix". Which is the correct spelling?

Hi,

Can you send your update on the memorial's correction tab? That way it takes me directly to the memorial instead of me having to try to figure out which memorial is his.

Thank you!
Terri

Cousineau
Just to let you know, I located a Charles J Cousineau at Greely Cemetery. I posted a memorial of him on Find A Grave. This Charles was born 8/4/1928 d-4/2/2005 and was married to Loretta J Cousineau on 8/27/1949. Would this Charles be the one that you have with no wife?

Cousineau Family Line
Just to let you know, I put an memorial on here of Virginia "Powell" Cousineau. I also have found William J Cousineau. I haven't done a memorial on William yet. If you would like me to send you the information and the photo of his gravestone, I would be glad to do so. I know that you were interested in doing this family yourself. I didn't realize this when I did Virginia. I will transfer the account to you or even remove it so that you can do it yourself. Sorry about this. I was just going thru' the cemetery and taking pictures and didn't even look at any of the names until I put them onto my laptop.

Marguerite Valin
I have a Marguerite Valin married to Joseph Amable Prevost. At this time, I don't have any information on either one of these people. I haven't gotten that far in my research at this time. I did get my information on this family from a group in Canada. I haven't asked them for any information past their son, Avila Oliver Prevost (Prevo). I do plan on getting ahold of them (in Canada) and see if they will give me information beyond Avila.
If you are wondering why I have 2 last name's, Prevost and Prevo, the family story is, when Avila brought his family to Alpena area, he changed their last name by dropping the "st" from their name because it was easier to get their mail because of the fact that there soooo many Prevost's in the area.

Charles Cousineau
The reason why I was asking about Charles, is that I have a Seraphin Sarapha Charles Cousineau, son of Isidore and Eugene "Labrosse" Cousineau. He was married to Euphrasie Frazille Rose Prevost (Prevo) on Oct 25, 1886 in Alfred, Prescott, ON according to St Victor Church Records. It looks like they either got divorced or he died because she remarried in 1925 in Alpena. I also remember reading a posting talking about this couple and they also called him by Charles. I have no information on him so I was wondering if he could be related to your father in-law. When you get a chance, could you recheck your father in-law's records and see if there is a Seraphin listed? Thank you very much!

Cousineau/Valin
Tammy, I just happen to take another look at your message to me and I noticed these 2 last names looked very familiar to me. Would your husband be related to Charles Cousineau and Marguerite Valin?

Evergreen Cemetery
You mentioned that you spent time at Evergreen Cemetery. Do you have a list of names of people in the Cemetery? If not then I will have to get ahold of the Cemetery to get one. My list for Holy Cross isn't updated so I have to get ahold of them too....

re: Jackson and Cousineau Couples
Hi Tammy,
I checked on both of these couples. According to Holy Cross Records, Edward and Fredrick Jackson are not buried there. According to St Anne's Church Records, there is a Israel Cousineau who died on July 18, 1890 and he was born in Canada and was to be buried at Holy Cross Cemetery on July 20, 1890 but the Cemetery Records don't have him there. As for Emma, could she have another name that she would of gone by? I can't find her listed being buried there at all.

I received a request for a photo of this memorial. I see that there is already one on the page. Did you want another one that looks better than the one that is on the page or not? Let me know and I can get one since I live right in Alpena, MI
