Alexander Michael # 52327458
Hello David,

I'm glad you belong to SAR, my son belongs also, and I belong to DAR.

I am hoping you can help me. Alexander was my third great grand uncle, and his parents were John Michael (1812 Patriot), and Mary Ann Dierdorff. I am sure there are two Alexanders we are dealing with. Could you please share your findings linking David and Rebecca Johnson Michael as his parents on your Find A Grave site?

Hi Dave! Long time no communicate.. lol! I'm wondering if YOU are also the "Dave" that put up Linnie and Goldie Nutt's memorial pages? There is no way to get in touch with that "Dave" but I do know he has posted photos and some memorials since the first of this year. ARE YOU HIM?

If you are, please link Linnie and Goldie together? I would love to manage those pages but I have no way of contacting this "Dave" person.. :) Linnie is # 15201220 - Goldie is # 15201225. Email me again sometime! We haven't communicated in quite awhile! Thanks.. ~Sharon Nutt~

RE: Charles Carrigan Headstone
Those were all my relatives and more. How do you manage a memorial page? I don't know anything about this. I tried to get family that are still living down there to get pictures for me, but it never happened. I'v done our family tree and Charles and Eliza were as far as I could get. I don't know where his parents, james and Ellen, are buried. Thanks for the information and the picture.

Charles Carrigan Headstone
Thank you so much for the photo of Charles and Eliza Carrigans headstone. I know I posted the request a while ago and forgot about it. It was a nice surprise to see it in my email. If I could request another of you from the same cemetery, I'd like one of my grandparents Fred and Odell Carrigan. Thanks so much for helping me.

Sadie Ann Barker Poling
RE: Find A Grave Memorial 52997133, Sadie Ann Barker POLING and
53188215, James Poling

I photographed all of the gravestones in Maple Grove Cemetery, North Lewisburg, Rush Township, Champaign County, Ohio, in May - August 2009. I have established a database of all of the Maple Grove Cemetery burials (over 4800 between 1892-2010), as well as many of the burials in the adjacent Spain Cemetery (1837-1930s).

Sadie's location would be about 4 rows of gravesites due east of the North Lewisburg Precinct Vault (no longer used), and approximately 14-15 gravesites north of the south entrance road to the cemetery. These sites would be directly north of the burial site of Sylvester SPAIN, Civil War veteran (1837-1909) who is buried in Square 80, Lot 3, Site 1, and whose gravesite has a marker.

In this portion of the cemetery (east side of Gilbert Road), all gravesites face east. Each Square is divided into 4 Lots, numbered clockwise from the upper left corner to the lower left corner of the square. Each lot is normally divided into 4 burial sites (although there are sometimes 5 due to the burial of babies or infants). If you were to stand at Sylvester Spain's gravesite, then face north, the next burial site should be that of Sadie Ann Barker POLING. James' site would be the one directly to her north.

According to records I have gleaned from the old obituary records, Sadie was born on 7 June 1832, a daughter of John Barker, and died on 17 March 1922. She was buried on 19 March 1922, under the direction of the Morey & Creviston Funeral Home, Marysville (Union County), Ohio.

After reviewing my database of information and photographs, I regret to report that there is no marker at the gravesites of Sadie and James Poling. Their graves are located in Square 80, Lot 4, Site 3 (James) and Site 4 (Sadie).

I hope this information proves helpful to you. I attempted to send this via your published e-mail address but the message was returned with notice that this was not a valid e-mail address.

PS - if you have need of any other photographs from Maple Grove Cemetery, or Woodstock Cemetery (Woodstock, Ohio), I have all of those in my pictorial database.

Warner Transfer
Hi David,

I just transferred Edgar and Myrtle Warner to you. As an FYI, next time you request a transfer, please include your member number because I had a tough time finding you. I am glad for the reminder because both memorials were transferred to me and I hadn't updated them in awhile. I added more info and family links before I transferred them.

Have fun!

Rain Brings Rainbows
RE: Thank you
Dave ~ you are most thoughtful! It is so hot and I have seen so very many requests for Salt Lake City Cemetery and almost as many from weeks ago to present, I felt the considerate thing to do would be to pick up the oldest requests to fulfill. Thank you for sharing so the time can be spent on another whose request has not been filled as of yet. You have been very gracious to
allow me to know! Thank You...

RE: Coe Photos

Riverside seems to have two Rebecca Steely Coe memorials now. One supposedly created today by me... BUT... I did not create any today (yet...) and created my real Rebecca 3 days ago. Strange.

I have made a request that they be merged and that two of Travis's to be transferred.
