Thank you again! Let me know if you want her transferred to you. I photographed this entire cemetery a couple of years ago. I went out this summer to get better photos and found the stones even more worn, and it looked like the grass hadn't been mowed all summer. Sad!

I have transferred her over to your care. There are probably about 30 or more McCartys that I can transfer if you want, just let me know. Have a wonderful Christmas season, and let me know any time that I can help you with transfers.

Thank you for the information! How did you know? Are you related? Her mother was my great-grandfather's sister.

Of course children are not always listed in family records if they died as infants or young.

I don't know who this Isabel Maltsberger is. I am just photographing stones in Union Temple Cemetery and this Isabel Maltsberger is close to where John is, I think next to him since it is in that order on my camera, but dates are sure off for it being his wife and the marker is definitely a child's stone.

Thanks for his parents' links. I did this for someone and didn't have that information. Now others will be able to add more to their family.

Thank you for the corrections/updates for John and Ruey Brooks in Bellerive Cemetery. I did transfer these memorials to you in case you wish to add to their bios, as I strongly feel memorials belong with family members and I am not related. Thank you for your contributions to findagrave, not everyone 'gets it' but I can tell from your profile that you are one who does.
Have a blessed holiday. Claire

I will look at it. Actually the first time I heard of goldfield was from a show I watched years ago. They did a documentary on it. Now they are a bit famous. So when I found out he was killed there I thought it was very interesting! I still can't find a death certificate! My grandparents are a bit too old to help me. And my gpa didn't know this side of the family either.
Thanks! I'll go look at this....had sick kids so I've been slacking

I knew it was a long shot! Thanks for posting his bio. I nor my family do not know much about the Jeppsons. Raymond Jepson I am having a hard time finding a death certificate for. I've searched Utah and Nevada with no luck. Do you have any suggestions? I've tried all spellings since some did change the name.
Thanks for the transfers

John Claude Jepson
In the gunnison cemetery I noticed you have done his bio I think? Then my sisters sis-in-law took the photo! That's confusing! Sorry! I read your bio. Maybe you are not related to us. I haven't come across anybody yet!
John is my great gmas brother. I didn't ask before for transfer but I was visiting the cemetery on Halloween while visiting for the day. I saw in person the whole row of the family. Yes, it is sad. Worn out headstones. I'm having a hard time finding the death certificate for his brother. The worst time!
But I'm getting ready for work but wanted to get this out before I go. Let me know. If you are related great!
Sorry...I forgot to grab my number! I'm on my pad!

|Carolyn Bailey||Cousin Howard|
Thank you for your reply.
I recently donated a letter from Frankie to Ervilla from May 3, 1945,(I think)to the National WWII Museum in New Orleans. In it, Frankie describes some of the scenes that Howard and other relatives who had been in the war had seen. He said that some German cities were so heavily bombed "that even a termite could not have survived."
I am glad he could correspond with you in his later years -- no one wants to be forgotten, even if all they have accomplished is in the past.

|Carolyn Bailey||Cousin Howard|
Thank you for sponsoring my Cousin Howard's page on the Find a Grave site.
His mother, Frankie, was cousin to my grandmother, Ervilla Spencer Bailey. They were very close all their lives, although Frankie lived in West Palm Beach and Ervilla lived in Miami, FL.
The entire extended family was proud of Howard for his technical expertise and his accomplishments on the job during his military career.
I remember spending an afternoon with Howard in the mid-1950's, when I was around 10 or 11. I was left with him as babysitter while the mothers went shopping. He was very kind to me and tolerant of my gawky pre-teen antics.
He was a good person, and I am glad to find him memorialized on this site.

Hi Juliane -
Are you related to the Waugh family?
Zula was my grandmother's Aunt.
If related - do you know of any other possible burial locations for Wm Lafayette Waugh
#21927062 ? There is a memorial in Find A Grave at Alhambra - but, when I requested a photo I received a reply that the cemetery had no record of him there.
Any info you can provide would be appreciated!

|Mary C.||Your Grandmother|
I loved the way you remember her. You had a grandmother like I had, who died in 1967. I remember her making butter, collecting eggs and candling them. Her canning was awesome as well.
I am very happy to people still have wonderful memories of our families and the learning that we could pass on to our Grandchildren. You have wonderful memories and treasure them and pass them on to your Grandchildren. God Bless.
