Thanks for noticing I never canceled the photo request. I have rectified that now.
And thank you for the photo of Kathryn Tucker Andrews headstone. She was my mother's cousin.
Your help with this is much appreciated.

You are most welcome. My cousin was visiting that cemetery to get photos of some of our family members and got a few others as well. I'm still uploading so maybe there will be more as I go along.

Thanks so much for the stone photo of Christena. It may be weathered but at least there was a stone. I really appreciate you finding it for me.

I had a question on how the centers name was come by. The memorial states her fathers name was Winters, it has a middle/maiden of Centers, but that does not appear on the headstone.
I am trying to research this line, and this causes some confusion as you could imagine. I did not know if you would have any info about this or not.
Thanks for any help you can give.

THank you for telling me. Lisbeth and your husband are my 9th Cousin 1x removed.
That is very said to hear that one child grew up with out their family. One of my cousin & his wife died and left their 3 children, the youngest was only 2 at the time.

I think I've completed all the suggested links for the Dowie family. Let me know if there are additions or changes that need to be made.

|Detcele||Ellener Cassin/Eleanor Cashen|
I was just wondering, would a marker of Ellener Cassin, a mother and wife of Richard Cassin, dod Nov. 17, 1906, age 60, buried in Mt. Carmel, section Y, block 12 and close to lot 206 (cannot pinpoint lot #) be someone you would be interested in? Came across this marker when looking for Eleanor Cashen's marker. Let me know.

|Leon Kish||Ida and Robert Hutchison|
I attempted to get a picture of the gravesites you requested. I even checked with the cemetery manager to locate their graves. However, there was no listing for Ida or Robert. What I did find in the section and block that you requested were John and Bertha Hutchison. I'm not sure if they are related. John's dates were October 22, 1910 - August 24, 1965 and Bertha M's dates were May 7, 1912 - July 31, 1967. Near their grave were Clare and Paul Wilke. I wasn't sure if they were related to the Hutchisons or just located nearby. I took pictures of both gravesites that I would be happy to send you (firstname.lastname@example.org). Also, you might want to check with the cemetery manager, Sharyn Perrelli at email@example.com and see provide her with further information which might help uncover their location in the cemetery. Sorry that I wasn't able to locate their graves but I will go back if you get a different location.

I hope I made all the additions. Thank you for providing the information. I believe you contacted me earlier about a picture of the Archibald family. You helped me identify some of them. Genealogy makes it a very small world, doesn't it?

|Craig English||RE: Delaware Co. Dowies|
Thanks for the e-mail about the Dowie memorials I posted. I was recently in Delaware County photographing a large number of relatives at three cemeteries. There were three or four gravestones on that list at Andes, including Roderick Thompson and his wife. While I was at their stones I noticed the large number of Dowie stones in a seperate section that caught my interest and I took shots of several of the stones. Some of the stones were unreadable or I couldn't get a good photograph. But I posted all of the pictures I took on Find A Grave.
My cousin in California is the geneologist in the family - I basically tag along on her work. She gave me a list of about 70 relatives in the Delaware County area and there were Dowies that married into the family. Primarily, though, the names of my relations from that area are Downie, Thomson, Strangeway, and Coulter. I'm sure you will find that the names in that area are entangled with the Dowies.
Thanks again for the e-mail and good luck with your geneology research.
