Tragesser/Lancaster Cemetery
Hi Mike, No I have no connection to the name Tragesser. We were visiting in Lancaster this past fall. However, I live in Westmoreland County. If you do not and need something from a Westmoreland County cemetery, let me know. If 3 months worth of snow buildup ever melts, I should be visiting cemeteries again. Best Wishes, Lynn

RE: Hartman cousins
Sorry we were living in SC at the time, then Germany for five years and now New Orleans, so no longer have the email address in order to access the family web page. You could always leave a posting in the guest book showing your family line with an email address if you like so cousins can find you.

Have a productive and safe New Year.

Hartman cousins
Hi Mike,
Boy everywhere we ever lived there were at least three Mike Hartman's!

We have a rootsweb family tree just do a search on Hartman Cousins we have scanned images of documents, family photos, and headstone photos.

There is also another cousin who has a huge database Don & Jeanne they should come up also in your search.

RE: Emma Jane McFall (Hartman) Rearick's memorial.

I have not been able to find Emma's husband John Jacob Hartman's grave either. He is not in Wagenseller's "Tombstone Inscriptions of Snyder County" (Middleburg, 1904) and Pennsylvania did not start keeping death certificates until 1906.

According to the Census he was living in Franklin Township of Snyder County in 1900. If you are located in the area, you may concentrate there, or look for a death record with the County or local churches.

Should you find a record (or grave) please post the information! I would love to add it to my database.

But I will send you the stone via e-mail if you want for your family tree

Alma Bingaman

Thanks for all the information on John J. Hartman and his family. I am filling in the immediate family in my database, but will probably not pursue it any further as it is very colatteral to me (he is the first husband of my 2x great-grandfather's 2nd wife).

If you have a find-a-grave memorial for John J. Hartman (or know of one) let me know and I will link it to Emma Jane's.

Sorry, but I've slipped a generation. The Hartman I'm asking about would be Elmer's father (first husband to Alma's mother).

I was still drinking my first cup of coffee....
