I am Merle's daughter Nancy's granddaughter. My grandmother, Nancy, his daughter, married Thomas M. Patterson III. He passed away a few years ago. She is in a nursing home and is around 86. Here is a link I found. If you search for Merle, you will see a photograph.
Also, if you do a good search on Merle Bushyager, and click on images, you can see his registration card.
Here is a link to my grandfather's page:

|MariaEdZed||What a fantastic house!|
I am fascinated by the house you use for your profile photo. There must be a story behind it. Is it anything you can share?
I am a distant cousin of yours. My mother's sister married a Frazier who was descended from Frazier/Frasures and Newmans. I see that uncle in your virtual cemetery. I'm very pleased to make your acquaintance.

It was our pleasure. The Rutledge Presbyterian Church/ cemetery, although in the middle of town, is a beautiful and restful area.

|Alice P.||RE: Thanks!!!!|
You're very welcome. I recognized your house on your message and remembered I failed to comment when you thanked me for Paul and Hellen Prior back in May and also the comment on my bio. lol My husband doesn't understand why I do this either but I keeping hoping the kids, grandkids or my great-grandkids will take an interest someday. If not maybe someone on the web will find my tree and be able to hook up to our family. Who knows? But it's still fun and keeps the little grey cells in the brain working. :-)
I also wanted to let you know that there was a J. Donald Wickersham on the back side of Allen and Lottie's stone. Edna was on there also, (without a date) and she is not listed at DMP cemetery as being buried there. I always check the backs of stones and others in the same Lot # to see if anyone else is buried there that might be related. I figure if they are on the other side of the stone they have to be related some way.

It's no problem, I have a friend that goes to the church by the cemetery and I gave her name and stuff to him to see if the church might have a record of her. which there was quite a few graves in that cemetery that just had field stones as markers and no name or dates so I haven't gave up yet, I'm just waiting to hear back from him. hopefully something will turn up:)
