|PJ Maylandt||RE: Mann Family|
Hi Joan - Our Manns may have been related, but not sure. I can trace James M. Mann back to Pleasant Valley, PA - just found that link. His daughter Sarah Mann was buried at the church there. I left a message on the church phone hoping they can give me more info on the Mann family there. Will let you know if I make progress and can tie it to your husband's relatives.
Thanks for responding,

Rhodes had 3 boys and 3 girls.
1. James L. Hazzard
2. Thomas R. Hazzard
3. William H. Hazzard
His first marriage was to Nancy White of Northwest Fork News dated the 30 of December, 1828.
The marriage record is signed by Roades (sic) Hazzard and Asbury W. Prettyman
I sent away to the DE Public Archives for Rhodes' marriages and his Will.

Now you've got me interested! I looked Piercy up in the census records. Looks like he married a Laura McGlencey in 1899. The 1880 census places the family (Rose B., the mother, Piercy, Rose, and Susie, children) in Harford, MD, and lists the mother as divorced. 1900 lists her as widowed. 1930 lists her as an "inmate" of the Home for Aged run by the Little Sisters of the Poor.
You are correct that Rose married a Thomas W. McCullough, the date was 27 Feb 1871, in Cecil County, know for their loose marriage laws/requirements. A burial record for Rose states she was buried in Chester Twp, Delaware Co, PA, but was cremated.
Who knows where they all are...! Good lick in your hunt.

I am happy to transfer the management of Rosanah McCullough and her children's memorials to you. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a marker for her husband anywhere in the area... I am trying to document this whole cemetery, so I just walk up and down the rows snapping pictures.
Please take notice that Lucy's memorial is actually a cenotaph here, the stone states she is buried in Philadelphia. I just sent an e-mail to the admins asking them to mark it as such.

I transferred a number of memorials from Mt Rose - the dates for the memorials are at this link; I didn't check to see if there are any Bierce memorials at Greenlawn. The link to that data is here

|Sara Cross||RE: Elizabeth McDonald|
I have asked for a photo of this memorial. I have a CD with all of the Cavalry records on it, unfortunately they are very incomplete. There are a few people in the area who are good with taking photos. So hopefully it won't take long before there is a photo. Was Elizabeth married to John McDonald, he shares the plot with her? Until we get a photo I don't have any other info. We'll cross our fingers!

I transferrd Mr. Drinkwater into your care. I do not know him but took quite a few photos that morning at Grace Memorial. I got there very early and it had just rained which caused some of the pics not to come so well.
If you would like any other memorials, please let me know. Thanks.

|Lynn German Long||Heinrich Schneider|
You created a record for Heinrich Schneider at Neffs Union Cemetery. On his page (Find A Grave #83766998) you listed Catharina Nein as his wife. (He was married to Catharina Nein 1742 - 1821.)
Heinrich is my 5th great grandfather and I and a cousin are both researching the Snyder family. Do you know the source for the information on Catharina Nein? We haven't been able to find any church records so far and would appreciate your help if you are able. Thank you.

See you don't have a death date for him. Check out wikipedia and radiology.rsna.org/content/91/2/394.full.pdf Both of these websites has extensive info on him.

|Jacqueline Pastreck||Ruth Martindale Waldo|
Ruth Martindale and her parents as well as her half-sister Dorothy Waldo are all buried in Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains, NJ. Ruth died in 1981 and Dorothy died in 1960. Like Leonard and Ada Purdy Waldo, these two ladies also lived in Plainfield, NJ. The house that they lived in (Ruth and Dorothy) was photographed and included in the booklet, Historic Tour of Plainfield, NJ that was published in 1974, p.9. The house was located at 718 Central Avenue and was built circa 1870.

His first wife was Pauline "Brown" Duffield. They married in 1942 and divorced in 1947. She was the daughter of Harry Arnold Duffield and Louella McGill. They did not have children.
His second wife's name was Dorothy Geraldine Deacon. They had two daughters: Lynn P. and Barbara Anne.
