I think I shot the wrong Lee grave site in may; they were for William Henry Lee. The information I sent you in the previous e-mail is the correct info according to Woodlawn's records. Sorry if I made a mistake. I will shoot the correct photos if you wish.

Sorry I took so long to answer; my brother died. Henry W. Lee is buried in Oak Hill plot, section 85, lot 8469 along with Henrietta Lee, age 27; Eleanor H. Lee, age 74; James H. Lee, age 42, Frederick R, age 68, Frederick R, age 56.

I do not see a picture on Henry W. Lee's page; did I not post it? I cannot find it in my collection of photos.

Which Petee photos were you referring to when you sent a thank you. They evidently were in Amboy Cemetery. I am researching the PETEE family and that is why I ask.

Found some other Simons at a neighboring Catholic cemetery -- St. Mary by the Lake in Bailey's Harbor, Wisconsin. Could they be related?

I have a book of family history and genealogy that my Dad, Art, let me have several years ago. (I have since amassed nearly 3,500 names.) The book has reference to letters, family bibles and such. Do you, or know where these items are ? I would love to have copies of any thing that would be added to my collection. Do you live in the Carl Junction area ? I hope we can share what we have with each other. Truly Yours, Steve.

RE: Greenlawn Memorial Park
Hi Laura,

The other photo is of Jane Silva's husband, Melvin, but there is no memorial page for him as of yet. I will build a memorial page for him after I get off work this weekend & will post his headstone at that time.

I shot a picture of his wife Louisa; there were 5 additional stones. I have no memory of who they were. The cemetery mentioned that there are 15 people buried in the plot. It might benefit you to purchase the interment plot since that is far more people than stones.

No problem! Glad I could help. BTW, although this cemetery is a bit remote, it is clearly very well cared for.

I have the original list of burials, and I have taken pictures of all of the stones that I could read; and there are no surnames matching your request. This cemetery has been known by many names including Kennicott, Euclid, Arlington and now Wheeling Twp.
In the 1950's the privately owned cemetery went broke and the Township took over. Even back in the 1940's there are minutes of meetings indicating the records were not the best. From the 1950's forward the records are much better.
In addition there is a Wheeling cemetery in the Village of Wheeling on Dundee Road, and there is an Arlington Cemetery in Elmhurst.
So there is a chance your relative is in Wheeling Twp and they have no record of it, or perhaps they are in a different cemetery.
Wheeling Township phone and ask for Linda. 847.259.7730
Wheeling Cemetery in Wheeling IL 847.259.7730
Arlington Cemetery in Elmhurst 630.833.9696
Good Luck

I'm looking at photo request for Old Cemetery Lebanon...perhaps Ann Fitch is instead in Windham Center #42331418...see what you think.
