Hi Diane, the cemetery change has been made, but now I'm having trouble with the photos. They keep loading flipped. I think I have to find the orig.s before they were cropped to fix the problem. Should be done in a day or two. Ann

Susan, I left a message for Diane the manager of Daniel and George's memorials. I let her know they are listed in the wrong cemetery and requested she make the correction to 'Liberty Street Cemetery.' I will post the photos when she makes the changes. Ann

Susan, I have George and Daniel's photos ready to post. Next to them is, Betsy M. b 12-31-1820 d 1-7-1909 "MOTHER" If you want this posted also, please send a photo request through. The cemetery has not been cleaned up from winter yet, so the grass and weeds are high. I am told the twp has bids out for the mowing. Once that is done, if you want new photos let me know and I will be glad to get them redone. Ann

RE: Mary Jane Counterman Ellison
Thank you giving me Amy patchen mothers name. I believe her father was Levi patchen. Anything i put on you are welcome to! The only thing I have added so far is my aunt who passed at birth her records were missing from the cemetery information. She would have been Mary's great granddaughter. She is buried next to Mary in the family cemetery. If there is anything you would like to know on the Ellison side please feel free to message me!

Putnam photo request - Danvers
Very interesting. I see references to the cemetery, but no location - other than "off Sylvan St". That's only a few blocks long, and there is a street off of Sylvan which heads towards the original Salem Village - although the dates of the internments are not that early. I'll just go have a look. Quite a little mystery you've left me.

Putnam photo request - Danvers

I'm a bit confused. The address of the cemetery is on Sylvan street - I cannot figure out which cemetery that would be. Can you help me out? The only Putnam cemetery I am familiar with is the one next to the State Police on Rte 62.

RE: Memorials in Frisco
There is no problem, I didn't know your relationship. I just have had people get in touch with me asking me to take mine off - even though I have more information and/or pictures than what is on the previous one. I am sorry for bothering you .....

Zilpha Clark
Hi Susan,

I called Eaton Twp to see if they had any records for Zilpha Clark's burial location. They do not have any listing of her burial in Butternut Ridge Cemetery (aka Eaton Cemetery). Their records only go back to the late 1850's, so there is no way to confirm Zilpha's burial there.

Franklin Lyman
Hi Susan:

I have posted the new photos I took of Franklin's grave. I enhanced them as much as possible in my photo program. However, the stone is very weathered. I hope this are more helpful to you. Chris

Hi Susan: I took the original photo on your request. There are many stones of this type in the cemetery and they are wearing away. As stated by another volunteer, this cemetery is very unfriendly and heavily discourages volunteers by asking for fees etc. As to cleaning the stone, other than with water Findagrave discourages this behavior. Franklin Lyman is in a section of 3,200 graves that I took last year when the office refused to give information on locations. A week ago, when I was a the cemetery, I wiped the stone with water. It did not help much for the grave shot of the whole stone, but I did take closeup shots of each person's side of the stone. They are alittle clearer. If the present volunteer who has claimed your request is unable to get the photo, I'll post to new photos for you and see if you like them better. Chris

Franklin T. Lyman (1880 - 1939)
Susan greetings! Terry here. Do you have a location of Franklin? The office is not all the pleasant when it comes to find a grave vols asking for locations. If you can send me the info i'd be happy to clean the marker of the calcium build-up and get a clearer shot for you. ~~ Ceme-Terry Photographer

Stella Lillian Keys Lyman
I am the creator of the memorial for Stella Lillian Keys Lyman. I've just finished the biography and added a headstone photo for Mrs. Lyman. She was married to William Elmer Lyman, and I also have the names of her parents and her birth and death information too.

Cheers - Kathie
