The problem with Mt Olivet Cemetery is that it flows right into Oakwood Cemetery without an obvious boundary line. I'll have to look at the Oakwood Index to see if which one it belongs too. Add to these 2 cemeteries is the fact that a 3rd on (St Peter's)also has no boundaries.
I won't be able to fix this problem until next month when I'm back in Joliet.

Hi,

In regards to your inquiry I have posted the obituary for Russell on his memorial it is the only info I was able to find. As far as I can tell I am not related to him.

Thank you

Ok

I hope a family member will find him. I know that friends of his know about Find A grave so perhaps I will 'drop a hint' next time we meet!

I got Leo's date of death from her obituary, and his date of birth from the Social Security Death Index. I am afraid that that is all that I have.

My mother, who's only relation to LaMotte was when she was married to my father, she's the one that does the most family hunting. We have an account on ancestry.com and we have maybe close to 2,000 people already, and if you have an account on ancestry then we could combine trees. If I have any other questions or if you have other questions, I'll answer them to the best of my knowledge.

Thank You
I just wanted to thank you for the info you gave me, it felt good filling in some of the blanks. My father always talked about his uncle Andy, whether it was a fishing trip or just a pearl of wisdom my father enjoyed his company and I hope Andy enjoyed his. I've kinda been wanting to gather up alot of the living family relatives and maybe have a small get together but alot of things have come up, I was wondering do you live in the Springfield area or the Sangamon Co. area if so I'd love to grab a cup of coffe or something like that one day. I hope to hear from you soon.

Stormfeldt/Stormfelt Family
I am a relative on the Stormfeldt side of your family. I am writing a family history on them and was wondering if you had a picture or pictures of Henrika Charlotta Stormfeldt Peterson. So little has been left on this family.

Thanks, Cindy Eppich

RE: Ezekiel Justice
Thank you for updating the memorial for Ezekiel Justice!
I have withdrawn the request for a photo in the Bratt Cemetery as a headstone probably does not exist. I found a set of photos on the internet taken in April 2008 of the Pleasant Valley Cemetery (Bratt) and the only Bennett headstone was for their daughter Martha A Bennett who died as an infant.
The people who took the photos said the cemetery is in an overgrown deplorable state with lots of broken, buried or missing headstones.
At this stage of my investigation I am sure the memorial at Find A Grave for Catherine Bennett in Bratt Cemetery and the one in Cherry Grove Cemetery are for the same person. What I am trying to find now is a headstone, or sextant record, for her in the Cherry Grove Cemetery. Her maiden name was Catharine Decoral Kidder. Her brother's headstone is in the Bratt Cemetery beside Martha A Bennett's.
I was born and raised in Wendell, about 10 miles from Jerome.

RE: Re: Kalman Hovarth
I'm sorry but I do not know anything of him or his family. I do wonder where I came up with "Carl" because I never add anything like that unless it's either on the stone or I find info on a death certificate or obit. Makes me wonder if someone didn't send me that tidbit and I forgot to source it. Maybe you all will be able to solve that puzzle! :)

Edward
Eliza Young in Weber Cemetery
Hi Gina, Today I walked Weber Cemetery, but found no stone for Eliza. However, many of the older stones were badly weathered and unreadable. I also wonder if the grave lister really saw the stone since no dates given!! Possibly listed from family records. I did find two Young stones in the cemetery. They were some of the nicest stones in the cemetery and were clearly not the original stones, but at least one knows where they are buried. I will upload these pictures. Sorry, Ed

You are very welcome.
If you let me know where they both were born & died I can put that on there also.

The is a lot of graves in this cemetery (10,000) or so, I not sure how many are showing on Find A Grave but no where near what is there. I have offered to help another lady in town and go though the hole cemetery on get them on line.
But let me know if I can add the information.
