Don't know if you had her death certificate, so I posted it. It says that she was born in St Louis, MO, if you want to enter it for her birth place. Thanks again.

RE: Picture of William Hawkins
Hello Lori,

I was so glad to hear from you, about William. His sister Ruby Hawkins Rafferty (Find A Grave # 37589908) late of WV, searched for him back in 1930, but said that she was unable to locate him. His daughter Kathryn Boon Hawkins Herr also came to St Louis when she married in the thirty's. She too came back with no word of him.
I cannot tell you how happy I am to have found him even now. To have an idea of who he was, what he did, where he lived, with whom, and where he rests makes me glad that I spent the time searching.
William Hawkins married Sara Boon Hawkins 22Nov1905 in Lancaster PA. They had 3 children: Warren who died at birth, Forrest ( my father) and Kathryn.
It is said that one evening he was indiscreet with a lady of the evening. The family told Sara not to take him back, and she listened. When Kathryn was 3 months old, William left the Lancaster area and should have arrived in St Louis in Jan 1918. He wrote several letters to Sara about getting back together and his final letters were asking for a divorce. It was granted on 17 Jan 1925. So I don't believe he led a double life. He simply continued with his life and it seems that he was happy. Glad to hear he was called "Pop Hawkins", sounds like he was cared about.

I see you added a picture for William Hawkins. I would like to know more about him. If you could tell me anything about his early family life, before 1919. Do you know if he had sisters Ruby and Gertrude. Was his father Reuben and his mother Charlotte. Was he born in Mountainville, NY? His Find A Grave Memorial # is #26336488. Thanks, hope your related.

I have transferred Wilma Ellis' memorial to your care. Since her husband is my cousin, I will retain ownership of his memorial. If you have information you would like to see added to his memorial, I will be happy to add it.

She is on another side of the marker and I put it in as well. I think it is spelled Catherine in Findagrave. Check it out.

RE: James Tate
Lori, I found the photos of the two wooden stones taken individually. These were taken a month ago or so and were put aside for lack of ID. I am glad you put a name to at least one of them, and I think the other one might be Barton Tate because their dates are close enough according to the memorials. The caretaker may be able to dientify exactly who are in the graves.

RE: James Tate
Yes I did!! There are a couple of them - beautiful ones but without writings on them. I suspected they were either carved in with hand chisel or painted. I am uploading them as well as the area. To the left are the two wooden markers, then about four empty graves, and then the stones for Curtis O and Irene Tate. I suspect the empty ones may be Tates also but were not marked.

Lori, thank you for the correction to her father's name. Would you like me to transfer her to you? She's not a relative of mine. Bev
