Butch died very young. Do you know the circumstances of his death? My sister and I went to high school in Sugar Land until Dulles. I graduated from Dulles in 1962. My sister was in the first graduating class of Dulles in 1960.

Hello, my name is Janet Youker. I just found your Mom and Dad's pics. I just wanted to say "Hello" and ask if you and Melissa were doing alright. I am the daughter of Kathleen Wylie (Secretary of Construction Systems Inc/Acoustical Products)and worked at Construction Systems Inc with your Dad from 1978 - 1983. I learned a lot from him and still miss him. He was a good friend. Keep up the good work here.

That would be great. Thank you so much. Her name is unusual. She was named for her mother who died giving birth to her. Thank again.

R.T. Thank you for taking the time to read and post these stones to this site. I lost 40 years of work in a county wide fire last sept and people like you are saving me hours of time researching in Texas and Louisana. I hope I will be able to start posts in the next year and help other people. Thanks Jo

I'm descended from the Gibbs/Brandon family. Are you related to Joseph Milton Brandon? My mother was a Brandon and grew up in Pleasant Hill. She remembers Needham Cason Gibbs when she was a small girl.
Thank you for all your work,

Thanks for making the changes. You are absolutely right about Ruben Melton. My grandmothers record say Jackson maried a second time and to his second marriage were born two children, Ruben Melton December 3, 1921 and Herman Melton born June 14, 1924. She has Jack and Matilda with nine children, two died in infancy, Erza born in 1985 and died in 1908. The other three are Macy Bell Melton, Velvie May, and J.B. Melton. Girls are so much harder to find but if you run across them. My goal was really to find Perry and Albina's children. Thanks again. Sandrav

Jesse Franklin Melton 82076297

There are more I need to locate.
Please and thank you,

I think I've made the changes you've requested. If they are not relatives, I'll just wait for relatives to contact me. I've found Findagrave so helpful that I try to update it whenever I can. My connection to DeSoto Parish are the Kellys and Nelsons. My ex-husband is a Kelly and his Dad's mother was a Nelson. I'm trying to get as much on these families as possible. That's how I cam by the Pelican Cemetery directory.

You posted a memorial today for this gentleman who died in Many, LA in 1991. I have been researching Pilchers for many years in this area. Are you related to William?
