|Calcat||Marie Miller/Anna(Wenzel) Miller|
Hi James - Yes I do have information! Marie was actually was the stepdaughter of Anna (Wenzel) Miller. Her father was Louis "Ludwig" Miller and her mother was Elizabeth Kraus, Louis' first wife. Elizabeth died in Feb. 1903 and Louis married Anna in Oct. 1903. Louis and his first wife had four children: Katherine, Helen, Marie and Albert John Miller. Hope that helps! Feel free to write me on my e-mail that is on my contributor page if you'd like to exchange more info. Happy to do so!

Hi, Filled your request for Anton's headstone. I knew where he was. I was just waiting for a day with a bit of a breeze as the bugs are bad right now. Anton's headstone is adjacent and exactly the same as L.D. Swan's. Since Mary survived them both she had them buried side by side and they have the same style headstones. Unfortunately, Anton's is badly deteriorated and if it were not for the old records, I would have had a difficult time identifying his headstone. It was lying prone and buried under 4-5 inches of soil but right next to L. D. Swan just as the records said.

Sorry! I will check it out next time I am in that area. The cemetery had sustained some storm damage the night before, so I was unable to do a thorough search.

Guess I just had a "senior moment," as I can't remember whose biography I found . . .
