Your very welcome, so glad that was helpful to you. That's why we all stay up too late at night and do what we do. Ginny

Well, my spirit guide came to me and said it was so. No wait, it was Richard's will that left Perry a dollar, from Monroe county, send me an email at and I will send a copy. Have to have a little fun now and then.

I wasn't sure if you wanted a picture of the complete monument. Some do some don't for different reasons. If you do I'll be glad to add it no problem.

Dear AKA: Miss Morgan,

I think he was. Doing a lot of research helped me find that and DATA too.

Are you in the OES?

Monroe County, New York holds still many kin, living and past. Are you up yonder?

Please add me as your friend. On Find a Grave also too.

One day on here our ally Canada will be done a lot better.. well hope is eternal..

You're welcome. Gymnastics! Ha ha! Even on sunny days, the natural light that comes from the stained glass windows isn't enough to get good photos in some parts of this old mausoleum. As you can see in one photo, there is a ladder in there. They sometimes hide it from me in an unlocked closet, but I'm wise to that! So whenever I need to use it, I can find it. Not only is it somewhat dark in there, but to make matters worse, the old bronze name plaques are very tarnished and difficult to read, even with the use of flash and/or a spotlight. It can be quite a challenge.

Anyway, if you need anything else there, just let me know. I'm usually there once a week.

Best regards,

Miss Morgan,

Thank you so much for the photos, they gave me more information than I expected. I guess now I will have more research to tie all of them together. You did a great job and I truly appreciate your good work. Keep it up for others. If you happen to find Basil,s sister, Flora I would be happy to know.

Perry Burdge
Ye, contacting me via email will be just fine.

FYI - I have been researching the Burdge family for about 20 years. This particular branch of the family has been much more difficult than most. As you know, Richard Burdge moved from Hamilton Co, Oh to Marion Co, Ind and brought much of his family with him. I have never been able to identify Richard's first wife. His children have been difficult to trace. I still do not have much on his daughters Rachael and Ellen.

Perry Burdge, Alice Burdge, etc
Thanks for the info about Perry Burdge, 1856-1881 and Alice Burdge, 1853-1928.

You mention that Perry went to prison along with brothers-in-law Nathan Thorpe and William Fultz. I have seen Nathan's named spelled various ways, including Tharp. Do you know the correct spelling? Also do you have any other info on Nathan and Mary. I only have them in the 1870 census.

As for William Fultz, did he marry Laura Burdge, daughter of Thomas Burdge & Elizabeth Winans? I cannot find Laura in any census after 1860. Do you have any info you can share on her?

The children and descendants of Thomas and Jonathan Burdge have been very difficult for me to trace.
