|Angela||Betty Mays Dubose|
I noted that another researcher said they had found a slab in the Dubose plot that didn't have a name on it, so I checked the Cemeteries of Berrien County, Georgia book for Betty Dubose's name. In the "unmarked graves" section for Poplar Springs Cemetery (page 272) this is what the listing for her said:
Betty Mays Dubose age 2 months 2-14-1930
So it's possible the slab the other researcher found is Betty's grave, but it's also possible she's somewhere else in the cemetery. It'll be a little while before I can do so, but I'll check with the church to see if they have any additional records that might be able to narrow down the location of her grave.

|paulofannandale||RE: John Buchanan photo request|
My message to you was premature, sorry. There are two John Buchanans in the cemetery and oddly they both died in 1905. John Milton Buchanan is not the one you are looking for (he was born in 1846). The name on the base of the stone was his son Charles (don't know where I came up with George; faulty memory I guess). I'll continue to try to find the correct JB. Paul

|paulofannandale||John Buchanan photo request|
I was doing photo work at Rock Creek Cemetery today and found a stone for John Milton Buchanan but I could not read any dates for him to confirm that he is the right person. (The stone appears to be about the right age.) There is a secondary person carved into the base of the stone that looks like George Buchanan with a date of 1920 (I believe it is a death date.) Can you provide any guidance? Thanks, Paul

Hi! I see you have a photo request for Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland Maryland. I'm taking a trip there soon and I'm planning on trying to fulfill as many requests as I can. Since this cemetery is so large (about 80,000 graves) it would help to have the section and plots of the burials. I have spoken to Carmelita Walker from CHC. She said she can't give locations of these sites to me since I'm not related but she said if you call her at 301-568-5400 & tell her that you're a relative (or think you may be!) she can give it to you. She said there's no charge for this information. If you could get that info soon (by 9/6) that would be great! If you are no longer interested in fulfilling the request for whatever reason, just let me know too so I can cross it off my list. Thanks!

Hi Dawn, I keep checking on your request for Lois S Young in Mount Lawn Memorial Park in Boone ,NC. But she is actually in Montrest Memorial Park in Raleigh, NC. I added Marvin Young (per his Death cert.) and connected him to his parents and transfered him to you. So that it stays in the family. Hope you don't mind.

I am Richard's 4 Great Grand Son. My leanage is through Richard, William D. (My name by chance), Jesse, William Allen, Eugene Thomas Sr. & Jr. I saw a question about William and Mary and wanted you to know my great grand parents are William Allen and Mary Ann Cerena Grubbs King which are probably not what you are looking for but they are buried at the Rivrside Oakview Cementary in Albany GA. It's the old cementary in the middle of town. They were married in 31 May 1874 and he died on Aug 28, 1935. She was from Orchard Hill GA.
I suspect you are looking for information on William D. King, father of Jesse King. If this is any help & we can exchange data Please let me know.

I searched the entire cemetery and did not find the William and Mary King that you requested photos of. There was a Mary M King (June 27, 1890 - April 1, 1891). This listing was found in the book by Sue and Johnny Hancock called "Cemeteries of Berrien County. I don't know if this is the Mary you are searching for, if so, let me know.

|Saratoga||RE: Henry Gray|
Dawn, Trinity Cemetery no longer exists. Most of my entries at Trinity are from a cemetery transcription in the 1930's. None of the headstones are still around. If you want to check the death record you can check it at ancestry.com if you have a subscription. I don't have a copy of it and I let my subscription expire. Charleston had death records starting in 1820.
I'm disappointed this cemetery was paved over and the headstones apparently disposed of. Wish I could have helped you.

I went to fulfill your photo request but did not find James - his name does not appear in the electronic records available at the cemetery, sorry I could not find him for you. I left a note on your photo request as well. Thank you.

Someone passed this information on to me, I dont recollect now who it was, sorry. . by the way, I have a gg-grandfather named Henry Woodard from Berrien County Ga. Does any of your family line have Woodards anywhere in ? . . just wondering.
Henry Woodward DuBose
Could you tell me how you got the death date for Henry DuBose. He was my great grandfather and on his headstone it does not tell the date of birth or death. I had no idea when he passed. Thanks

Hi, For your memorial # 51356265 for PFC Ernest Ryan, a new stone has been installed at ANC -- I found that when responding to a photo request for the memorial for his wife, Anna. So, I've added the photo of the new stone to his page, where you have a photo of the old stone. I hope that is ok with you. Thanks.

His wife was Harriet Isabel (Blitch) Lopez but she later married Elijah James Clough. Her dates are 23 May 1891 - 26 Aug 1979. Peter may have married another time but I am not aware of another marriage. Their daughter was Eloise Lopez Taylor, wife of Calvin Taylor. Her dates are 20 May 1915 - 15 Nov 1999. No idea where she is buried. The second child was Peter Walter Lopez, Jr and he died 09 Jan 1987 in Hillsborough County. No idea where they are buried either. Anything you can find out is MOST appreciated!!! Thank you!

Thank you for the photo of his tombstone. I am very appreciative of your time. May I ask if you found any family around him? I cannot find his wife's or children's graves. Best regards, Ann
