I left a message last week asking if you would be so kind as to transfer my family memorials to me(parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles) but have not received a reply. I would appreciate it.

I saw your memorial for Richard Guzy, his wife was my wifes Grand mother, so if you would like to link her (Joy Marie Guzy) as his spouse her memorial number is 11570754. Thank you.

|Anonymous||Lake View Cemetery - Calumet Michigan|
Hello Caryn Dugo. I can't get anymore grave locations for the Lake View cemetery (they have a fee for more than 5 requests and I have exceeded that number). If you would call the cemetery for the locations of any graves you would like to have pictures of and put that information with the photo requests, I would be happy to take the pictures for Find A Grave. The cemetery office will close around Nov 1, but the cemetery will be open until the snow gets to deep for access. The phone number is on the Lake View page.

I'm so sorry that this happened. I will keep an eye out for you, but it is a huge cemetery with most graves not online yet (I put about 1800 or nearly 1/3 of all of the graves currently online at the cemetery just last year, but probably 40,000 to go). You might try calling back one more time in a couple of weeks on a different day. You could get a different response. Sometimes they will help me in the office, but I do understand that it is a business. Keep your fingers crossed - their graves might just be near someone else I am helping and I see them. Ace

|M Arvidson||Mt Carmel-Abbinanti|
Hi Caryn-You've got a page for Mariana Abbinanti. I know she was previously on the request list. I checked today and there is no headstone or memorial for Mariana but where she is buried is a monument for the following:
Francesco Abbinanti-(26 Dic 1912-11 Mag 1918)
Francesca P Abbinanti-(27 Dic 1909-6 Lug 1920)
There are photos for both of the children. If you create a memorial page for them let me know and I'll post the pictures.

Hi! Regarding your photo request, can you please contact the cemetery and obtain the Section, Lot, and Grave Number information, and then post it to your request? Please also ask if there is a grave marker and add that information to your photo request and/or memorial. The Find A Grave FAQs state the photo requestor is responsible to provide this information.
Elmwood Cemetery: (708) 453-0273
This cemetery provides extremely limited assistance to photo volunteers with finding a grave's location. Last year I was able to fulfill almost 200 photo requests at Elmwood through this process. Because the lots in this cemetery are poorly marked, almost no one else ever photographs here. I have only had success here because I have spent literally weeks at a time to learn the intricacies of the layout of this cemetery.
Thank you for helping me to help you.

Hi Caryn-I posted a picture for Giuseppe today. He is buried with his wife, Ignazia (died 1927) and two other people, Minnie Minardi (1885-1970) and Joseph Minardi (1884-1953). I do have pictures for all of them if you want to make memorial pages. Let me know and I'll post the pictures.

You are so very welcome. I'm glad I could help. Yes, her gravesite is along 32nd Street. She is three rows back from the fence and at approximately 743 West 32nd Street. The picture with the house should help you find her stone. Or you could just walk the 3rd row in Section 95. If you have any questions, let me know.

|M Arvidson||Mt Carmel-Antonio Morici|
Hi again Caryn-the reason no one had replied to your photo request is that Antonio wasn't in the database at Mt Carmel. I just got the Mt Carmel interment registers on permanent loan at my local Family History Center. Now that we know the location of his grave you can update your request and after the snow goes away, I'll add him to my list of sites to check.
Here's the info on Antonio from the interment register:
Date of Interment: 19 Jan 1924
Name: Antonia Morice (as listed on register)
Grave Location: Section 20, Block 10, Lot 223
Date of Death: 18 Jan 1924
Age at Death: 84 years

Well, I've done everything in my power for Miss Catterina. I did find two obits for her in two separate Florence newspapers. Neither one has any real information; however, the one does name pallbearers.
Miss Catterina is yours now, but if you find anything new over the years, would you let me know, please? I seem to have become invested.
Thank you so much!

Even though I live in Canon City, I couldn't get death certificates for my husband's family all of whom had died in Fremont county. I had to go through Vital Statistics up in Denver. Colorado requires, along with $15.00 for each death certificate, a family tree type of thing to see how you're related, copy of your Drivers License/ID and signed request. They're pretty stringent. I sat up in Denver one day for hours with $$$ and requests for about 25 of my husband's family.
I'm not sure if I have in the past, but let me get down to the Historical Society this Friday and see if I can find an Obituary for Miss Catterina. Maybe, maybe not, but it won't hurt to try. And if I have, I'll look again
