Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry to hear you have been so ill all this time.....had no idea.

I thought perhaps you were offline for other reasons, like computer problems.

Take care of yourself & I will look forward to the rubbing.

Hi Mindy,

Sure hope this finds you doing well.

As usual, I'm being a pest about the gravestone photo for you submitted for Jonathan Tune, Find A Grave Memorial # 36823866 in the Tune Cemetery in Salem.

Did you get a chance to go back & do a rubbing or find any other records that show his date of death?

Warm regards,
Gloria J. Tune

LABG
"Lucy Jane Lape" Memorial # 100083952
Dear Mindy,

I made a memorial for Lucy Jane's mother tonight. I was thrilled to find Lucy Jane's memorial so that I could link her to her mom, "Martha Jane Branson Haislip". (I have not made a memorial for her dad yet.)

She is correctly linked to her husband, "Henry W. Lape"; but her "maiden name is spelled wrong". It is "Haislip". Her father was "Samuel Haislip" (not Harrison Holiz). Lucy Jane died in the influenza epidemic of 1918.

I submitted edits through the memorial page itself, but I wanted to explain my edits to you.

Lucy Jane's mother was a sister to my 2-great's-grandpa. I'm trying to tie-up loose ends on my family & get them linked to their loved ones.

Thank You for making her memorial & for your help!

~~Lynda (LABG on find-a-grave)

Memorial 80611295 Carl G. Fernau
Hi. I just came across Carl G. Fernau's tombstone on Findagrave and I'm wondering if this is my cousin Petey. Petey was married to Franny and they had 3 sons. They lived in California for a few years but moved back to St. Louis just a few years ago. One of their sons' name is Kurt.
Can you tell me if this is my line?
Thanks, Shirley :)

Helen McDarment
RE: Campbell and Dobbs families
Thanks for responding to my request. Don't worry about the photos. I will try to locate someone in that area for assistance. I wish I could locate her death certificate as that should have the necessary info I need. I do know that Sarah Jane Campbell married George Washington Dobbs in 1855 in Allen County, Ky. Her mother was Sarah A. Campbell Dobbs who married George W. Dobbs' father Henry S. Dobbs in Allen County, Ky. in 1850. The fact that there are two Sarah's and that they married a father and son has caused a lot of confusion. Some info on ancestry has the two Sarah's mixed up. I also know for a fact (contrary to what is posted on find-a-grave) that Sarah Jane Campbell Dobbs was only married to George W. Dobbs and never was she married to her brother the Rev. John Preston Campbell!! He, however, does have an infant son buried in the same Keysville, Mo. cemetery. Thanks again. Helen McDarment
