If you want to know for sure where Mary is buried, and do you believe Nora is there, too, because I don't find her in the Lone Fir burial records, ask Metro who is buried in Section 35 Lot 114. Don't ask by name, because the search will be by name. Ask for a search of the section/lot map. It may take several weeks, but the information will be more reliable than the lists.

I posted a photo to her memorial; if you find that she is not there, I will remove it.

RE: Bishop
You are welcome, and thank you for the additional Bishop information; I will check it out. Would you like to have their memorials transferred to you?

RE: Klinker, et al
OK, I got all your pics you wanted, except for two people. I ran out of time yesterday and did not want to get locked into the cemetery! I will go back soon and get them.
I waited until it got good and hot before I went. Some people like it cold and some like it hot. I hate being cold so this is my time of year. Nice and toasty! :-] This is my self made exercise program, to go out there and hike all over the cemetery and scrub and clean gravestones. It gives me a great workout. I can not exercise for the sake of exercising to save my life but I can do something I love doing which is hiking all over a cemetery for hours on end and cleaning gravestones and am fine with that. Silly me?!
And, it is a lot less expensive than chasing women! Har har.

Johannes Heinrich "John" Klinker
I got pics today per your request for Johannes Heinrich "John" Klinker and his wife Anna. Sorry it took me so long. Har har. :-]
I also got pics for their daughter Helene who is buried by them.
Your request for Thorwald and his wife is going to take considerably longer to get. I don't know where they are buried. I will have to contact the cemetery on Monday and it sometimes takes them a couple days or so to get back to me on a location, but I will get it taken care of sometime this coming week.
I don't know where their daughter Elsie is buried either?? I will see if I can find that too. Or, rather, that one is going to have to wait a while. The cemetery only wants me requesting 5 look ups per week and I already have 5 to ask about besides Elsie.

RE: Gary Benham
I don't think I will be making a page for him. I don't know what cemetery he is going to be buried in.
This is the web address to his obit, it is the first hit in the links that come up=

RE: Frank Eugene Benham
Guess what? There is an obit, w-picture, this morning in the Oregonian for a Gary Benham. He just died June 25th.
It does not say where he is being buried but says his funeral is going to be in Hillsboro so he will probably be buried there somewhere would be my guess.
Thought I would mention it in case it is of any interest.

Frank Eugene Benham
I got a message from the cemetery about the location of Frank Eugene Benham who you made a request for a picture of his grave recently.
They said that he is not there. They said he was cremated there and his ashes were given to a Laura Benham.
The Oregon death index says that his wife's name was Laura. Laura is in the OR death index. She died June 9, 1977 in Portland area.
I looked for an obit for her and could not find even so much as a death notice. Groan.
No idea where they went. Someone in the family must have wanted them buried elsewhere or scattered their ashes or who knows??
If you don't agree with this you can call the cemetery. Their phone #= 503-771-1117

RE: Jensen

Send more requests if you have family in Wilhelms Portland Memorial Mausoleum - I'll be thrilled to help you! These two Jensen's were in an older part of the Mausoleum. Some lovely stained glass down there etc.

Hi, I have made the changes and thank you for the picture. As a small boy I remember going to the mausoleum with my mother Marguerite Fisher Bond. Who was your wife's mother? Was she one of the Fisher girls. Hope to hear from you. Amos

Your very welcome ,was happy to find them with the help of the office personnel who took me to the area so that I could take the pictues for you.

It is much easier when the family of the interments who request the pics call that certain cemetery to let them know a member from findagrave would go there to need assistance to locate interments .

O'Neills & McMullins
I believe I have them all transferred. If I missed any, please let me know. I also transferred the McMullins children. Because they are children, they may be related to one of the O'Neill's.

I added links that I knew were correct or at least I believe they are. There might be some I don't know about. If so, let me know or request a transfer. I don't mind at all if you take them.

Eva Morey
Eva Morey is buried in the O'Neill Family Plot. Others buried in that plot are:
Patrick P O'Neill (Father)
Bridget O'Neill (Mother)
Patrick F O'Neill (Brother)
Felix O'Neill (Brother)
Frances O'Neill (wife of Patrick F)
John J. O'Neill (Brother)

Cemetery files indicate there are others buried in the plot.
Nellie G. O'Neill 3 months old (No headstone)
Joseph McMullins 5 months
Betty McMullins 11 months
The Mullins may not be related, and I did not find headstones for them. I mention them in case they are related.

I have made memorials for each of these people as I didn't see that they had memorials. If these are your ancestors I will be happy to transfer the memorials to you. Please let me know with along with your Findagrave ID #.

Woo hoo! I found her!
The headstone for Margaret Andrews, that is. I went back today because I remembered there were Colburns in the area I had photographed. I found a marker that had the bottom 1/3 buried, and the top 1/2 overgrown with grass. It was actually the Colburn name that caught my eye, first. Part of the name of John Colburn was visible. As I dug it out and cleaned it off, I had to trim the grass from the top portion of the marker which revealed Margaret's name.

John Jr. is buried directly below them, just to the left of the area where I THOUGHT Margaret's grave was (see memorial for John Jr., and the photo of the area.) The lots in this section of Del Ivy are very large, and in this section they encompass two rows, one right along the road, the other directly above. I was reasonably certain that Margaret's grave was in the row next to the road, but I was wrong. It if had not been so obscured with dirt and grass, I probably would have found it last week.

So now you can change the wording in the bio. I've added the new photos now.

Sorry it took so long!

Best regards,
