I have another favor to ask! I am making a Memorial page for Corp. Ross Robinson on fold3.com, a military website. Would you allow me to post your photo of his headstone? It has his military information on it. Thanks so much for your consideration!

So sorry to hear that! I live in OK & went to Sumner once & absolutely loved the white bldg. Was it torn down? Do you know why it wasn't declared a "historic" site? Thank you. Glad I have a pic of the white bldg.

|Drew Hall||Thank you!|
Mr. Picard - I can't possibly thank you for what you've done. I am a long way away from my family roots and although I get to go home for funerals, the markers are never there.
Thank you so much for all the photos at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

|Mary V. [Johnson] Edgar||Robert Marvin Wooley|
I appreciate your input, Dick, but Marvin's full name was Robert Marvin Wooley. His name appears in the 1900 census for the household as Robert M. Wooley. As you probably know, It is not uncommon for a person to have on their tombstone the name they were known by. My own husband was known by his middle name his whole life because his first name was a family name, and if you used his first name at a family gathering, every man in the room would turn around!
Marvin's mother was my great grand aunt, so I have knowledge about his family.

|Becky Steele||RE: Scott Additions|
Thank you so much for contacting me. I do have the information you sent to me, regarding the full names of the Scotts and date of marriage, but I really appreciate your bringing to my attention the need to add that information to their memorial page. We moved this past year and my family history research, etc. has been put on hold, but you are absolutely right that I need to update my info.
Thanks again for your message.

I have been searching for some of my extended family members to see if they have pages and if not making them. I ran across a page made by someone else for a distant cousins husband. Name Marvin Lonzo Gwin buried in Sumner Cemetery Jacksonville Pulaski Co Arkansas. You posted a headstone photo a few months ago and I was wondering if I might have permission to copy that photo for my family files and also to share with family on or family website on myfamily.com. As with ALL photos I use from here I always give proper credit on each photo as well as mention find a grave too. Marvins wife Anna Mae Clement Gwin is listed on the headstone as well but there is no death date yet an I dont have a date in my files yet either so I assume she is still living. Thanks CIndy

I just transferred back to you George's memorial. Down in the burial location is now a set of GPS coordinates. Click on that, and a Googlemap will come up that will show you where exactly the stone is located.
